Thank you I learnt from your video But I got a dout ... CSS - whom can you u call. PRT- who can call you Both are different scenarios... Why are v adding PRT's to CSS? While creating CSS? Will tht help? Also can you please tell what happens when a phone doesn't hav any PRT and CSS?

1. If you do not add PT to CSS then you will be able to call only to those who have "none" partition in their phone, But if you give any other partition to the other phone then you won't be able to call from your CSS who doesn't have any Partition. Note : "None" partition will be automatically there in every CSS. And yes, we are adding PT while creating CSS. 2. When a phone doesn't have any PT and CSS that means they are in "None" PT and "None" CSS, It means anyone can call you and you can also call to anyone. I hope this clears your doubt related to CSS and PT

We don't add dial plan in partition, partitions are just naming conventions. You need to create a Dial plan to make calls. For manipulation of digits you need to create translation pattern

so what's the function of CSS_Local on the line page? I thought we already assign the CSS_Local on the device page

This video was only a demo. Mainly it depends on us how we configure it in our environment, Like sometimes we give Local_CSS to line page and Internal_CSS to device page and vice versa, So that if you login to extension mobility then you will have access to make local calls and if you logout and someone else wanted to make a call from that device to local numbers it won't go because it is having Internal_CSS on device page.

CSS_Internal is making calls to partition not to CSS_Local. If your CSS_Internal has PT_Internal then you can make calls only to the phones who have PT_Internal as a partition
