Thank you so much Sir, for the highly detailed lecture on " Introduction about AOR examination. Your explanation about the need for this exam, was insightful. The focus on ensuring a minimum of 5 years' maturity and experience, as well as accountability in handling petitions, cases and etc was well-explained. You explained the eligibility criteria led by Supreme court of India under Article 145 and The Supreme Court Rules 2013, highlighting the need for 4 years of practice, a continuity certificate from the state bar council, and the importance of training, dealing with clients, and online filing. The five subjects prescribed for the AOR exam were thoroughly discussed: 1) Practice and Procedure of the Supreme Court, covering key constitutional provisions (Articles 124 to 147) 2) Drafting particularly drafting SLPs and petitions 3) Professional Ethics focusing on advocates' duties towards the court and clients 4) Leading Cases which guided other case laws and 5) Time Management to handle the 3-hour exam effectively and regulations for exam given in Regulation-11(1) to (4). Your recommendations on study material, such as books B. R. Aggarwal's " supreme court practice and procedure" by author Raju Ramchandra and Gaurav Agarwal, commentaries by M.P. Jain and D.D. Basu, were very helpful. Thank you for explaining the exam regulations, passing criteria, and reattempt policies in such a structured manner.
