At age 56, my pcp prescribed a x-l beta blocker for essential hypertension, to go along with hypothyroidism/ levothyroxine & reuvestatin however my eco showed left ventricular diastolic issue along with 3 mildly regurgitating valves and additional thicken of the leaflets as well carotid intima thickening both proximal as well distal. Calcium score is negative. My issues are just beginning, I have had and this was mandated, 3 mRNA vaccines from Moderna. I see heart failure in my future. I have reduced caffeine intake but the fatigue is a bothersome issue. Note: I’m what is described as a professional college student/ medical professional who works 3 part time jobs and lives at home with an 80 year old very wise women who at times adds to the hypertension.. my question: should I also be on a low dose diaretic? Sorry for spelling!
