I'm 69 now and back in the day, I've seen them 3 times...would have been 4, but Plant's son passed away right before they came to New Orleans, so I got a refund on the ticket. Should've, could've, would've kept the ticket as a souvenir, but it was just a piece of paper about a concert that didn't happen.

It lasted for 3 days, this was pre Glastonbury, happy days.

@brisngrant9380 - The performance was on the Sunday afternoon and it was my first time watching them as well. The lineups and timings of the acts went to shit due to the weather and the crowd numbers causing congestion on the roads around the Shelton Mallet show ground. Totally blown away by them and their performance and have been a fan ever since.

@@georgeseif102 Peter Grant, Led Zeppelin's band manager at the time -- caught two bootleggers under this stage at the Bath Festival on June 28th, 1970. Grant smashed their equipment -- and yelled at them. He went out from under the stage -- grabbed an axe and went back in and chopped the remainder of their equipment up. Heard recently - Jimmy changed his position and may have come to regret them going after bootleggers so much.

Also if ya dig this song Dazed and Confused on youtube you may enjoy Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZbin. 😀
