This song was recorded in one take, LZ was just fiddling around in the studio. It’s heavily influenced by the song “Killing Floor” by Howlin’ Wolf and the line squeeze (my lemon) till the juice runs down my leg," can be traced to Robert Johnson's "Travelling Riverside Blues"from 1937.

I love it when Lex is so lost in the music, that an "ooh" will pop out nearly every transition. Or when she gets a wide eyed look of approval or appreciation to a different type of sound she was surprised by or maybe unfamiliar with. Thank you for saying that! I feel less alone now. I am someone who deeply feels the instrumentation and rhythms of a song but also think the lyrics are equally important and complete the feel of the song. Doesn't mean I catch everything the first time I hear a song, but it also doesn't mean I'm not paying attention to the lyrics and feeling the melody at the same time either. People will attack in the comments, saying it's impossible to do both at the same time because of the way the brain works.

Actually, like so many early Zeppelin songs, it didn't mean anything. It was a mishmash of lyrics lifted from earlier bluesmen overlaid onto blues-rock guitar-scapes created by Jimmy Page with the rhythmic backing of Bonham and Jones. But it sounds great!

A great groove...i love JPJ's bass in this one and Jimmy's lead is awesome as always. Lex gets Zeppelin like no other reactor i've seen
