This was originally for a little collaboration that never panned out, so I had fun with it and threw the wig on. This will be the first of many new videos being uploaded over the next few weeks.

I think I am one of the few lucky people who saw led zeppelin live at the royal albert hall...a friend of mine gave me his ticket for the concert...and I had no idea who they were at the time...that day my life changed somehow...it was a great moment of sharing...everyone knew that we were witnessing something special...I was 17 at the time. You probably get goosebumps and get excited listening to John Bonham performing live in any of his videos, but you just can't understand what it felt like just standing in front of him getting punched by his bassdrum.. Today a lot of people think they're badass playing drums..but you really are pretty good at playing...you've got the groove...keep that going! :)

If I had a time machine, it would certainly be one of my first trips to go back and check them out around 71/72. I love his playing from that time in their career. Do you have any specific memories from that show? Mannerisms or banter that you were able to catch between the band?

MrMojoRisin1967 Hi, Im sorry but I just saw your answer. :) Before I start I apologize for my english and I hope I will be able to tell you about that day and what I caught by seeing them performing. First of all I remember that they were amazingly serious and professionals. No gimmicks and jokes. They were silent and it seemed like they could communicate between themselves just by looking at each other and not like any other band. Obviously there was a huge crowd and a lot of dancing and jumping but lucky for me I was right in front of them in the fourth line. There were a lot of moments that are not been recorded so that you can not see in the video. Before they played "Bring it on home" Jimmy page came next to Bonzo and whispered something in his ear and I saw John laughing then drinking. I clearly saw that he had a lot of beer cans and other alcohol behind and beside him. Theres a lot of moments that I remember and obviously a lot that I don't remember but in the end it was a fantastic moment, I didn't know that people could really play such music. They were amazing and hard to forget. When I saw John Bonham that day I started playing drums and if Im still playing now is because of him. He was totally comfortable with the instrument and everytime he hit the drums you could literally feel punches in your stomach and every once in a while the whole band looked at each other and smiled. You have to keep on playing. You are amazing because you have a lot of control but the "feel" has to grow. Just remember one thing.. be yourself..always..is the only thing that can change everything and I tell you again...you've got the groove...if you really are what I think you are then you would understand what I'm saying. Im sorry now I am busy but when I come back I will tell you more about that day! Bye, take care! :)

Did you get em what kinda gear u got now man? About the time I was 14 and 15 i wanted DW acrylic drums 24 12 14 16 purple finish. Those looked sick to me basically what chad smith plays live sometimes. And i wanted paiste cymbals. But ive been working for a year or two now and i bought a brand new set of zildjian A's. Nice allrounder set. I kinda gave up on exact brands cuz shits expensive. Now i want a 3 peice set 24 13 16 maybe 18. And a piccolo snare. I think thar would sound really cool big boomy thunderous bass drum and toms with a dry but high tuned piccolo snare.

Also im 18 now... rn saving for a powered monitor so i can plug the vocalist of my band into. She has such a beutiful smooth voice, not much projection but i want to preserve the beutiful tone and just amplify it more. That way i can play with energy while performing and the vocals still be on top of that. Im a senior my band got permission from the big peices of the school to play for prom. I wanna make this performance big so def gotta get some to bump the volume up of the vocals.
