back door man meant something different back then, it was literally the guy waiting at the back door for the man to leave out of the front door of the house. lol

Never, ever stop in the middle of a Page solo!!!
@sicotshit706816 күн бұрын
Page & his amazing producing & mixing & working so close with the engineers, is why you get the incredible panning. You can hear the echo of Plant’s voice before he actually sings, it had something to do with how the tape was used. Page & the engineer tried to remove it, but they couldn’t, so they just left it in & it gave a cool effect. They sometimes liked leaving happy mistakes in, it showed they were real, if you pay attention in lives or studios you can catch them. Stairway To Heaven live at MSG (1973), Page plays the wrong note, Plant looks at him & smiles & I love that. Love their improvising on live performances, longer solos or added vocals, no song is done exactly the same twice. Yet all the members, like 4 sharing a brain , know to just follow who’s improvising. So many things that make them as great as they are, & no other bands have that extra gift. Thank you again for your reaction, keep diving into the mighty Led Zeppelin.

Led Zeppelin was honored for their contribution to the arts, yes American art as SO many bands were influenced by them.

In (2007) they did a Celebration Concert, one concert. In 2 hours there were requests for 20 MILLION tickets, & there were only 20 thousand seats available. There was a lottery, to give all fans the chance to get tickets, & yes Jason Bonham played the drums. They still sounded amazing 27 years after they split up.

There's a book that was written about Led Zeppelin in their earlier and it's called hammer of the gods and it's a really good book it's pretty interesting about how things went on tour and what their lifestyle was like to be in a famous rock and roll band

I remember sitting on my brother's bed in his garage room. He had this album playing really loud! I was probably about 7 years old. My mom came in and started yelling at him, "Don't play this music, so loud with your sister in here!" 😂😂😂 She made me leave the room. It was right during that acid trip part.

First off: the founder and guitarist of the band Jimmy Page and the bassist were both highly successful studio musicians in London. Robert and Bonham were younger and both grew up west of Birmingham in villages close-by one another. They were friends before they both joined Zeppelin. Secondly: Robert himself spoke about food backstage in an 2018 interview. He says he couldn’t believe all the food backstage these days. Back in the day, he said, there was no food before a performance. No one was hungry he said, with a grin and a twinkle in his eye. Cocaine does curb the appetite for sure.

The little "explosion" pyrotechnics you saw near the end was a huge deal back then. It was talked about big time and looking at it now it looks like something you would see from a local small town bar. My husband saw them when he was a teenager in 1971 or 1972 and he said it was awesome. When Zep's "In Through the Outdoor" album came out, I was in the 10th grade. Loved your commentary.

Lol if you're just getting to this track then it's very early in your musical education. This being my first watch of yours I'll assume you like many others reactors will ignore or overlook Ozzy with Black Sabbath until years into the journey assuming they aren't the true bad asses they really are or you can thank me sooner than later.
