Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. @@sonhouse50 I filmed I lot of songs that night some using two 3 minute reals of film check YOU TUBE for more look for ( rare Led Zeppelin from L.A. ) so other people have posted my film but it's OK. I made 6 VHS tapes for friends in 1975 and those were copied. I am a Zep fan I am happy it's out there, when I watch it I am there again.

@@tiffanycurtis4794 The lyrics were inspired by blues musician Robert Johnson's 1936 song "Terraplane Blues".[4] A Terraplane is a classic car, and the song uses car parts as metaphors for sex-"pump your gas", "rev all night", etc. The themes of these songs however differ; "Terraplane Blues" is about infidelity, while "Trampled Under Foot" is about giving in to sexual temptation.[5]

Kind of a mess, too fast, closer to the studio version sometimes is better, I'm sure they get bored of the same old, but this is not that musical, and I am a big fan. They could get a bit sloppy live, I saw them in '77, it was epic, but I remember it being less tight than I was expecting, not very sharp, one of the top handful of bands ever, but nobody is perfect. Bet they were smashed. KZbin is so awesome, some of their live vids are so perfect.

Yeah they became less light after 73. 75 their new material was tighter than older material. 77 was just for the fans and very uninspired playing by page esp. his substance abuse was taking hold by 77

Amen to this! Robert, Robert...blah blah. He was too flamboyant and odd. Jimmy was the tall, dark & handsome mystery man, sexy as hell with all the cool moves and a smile that made women weak in the knees. Plant never did it for me...too girlie for my tastes.
