That's awesome that LEDBlinky can trigger the lights to change during specific events in a game. So would it be possible to make all of the cabinet lights turn red during a fatality in Mortal Kombat? I'm curious how all of this works.

I wish... the actions can only be programmed if the original hardware had such outputs. For example, in Chase HQ there were physical lights in the Marquee for the police lights, so the game outputs LAMP0 and LAMP1... In Galaxian, the start button would blink when you inserted a coin before you pressed start, so that game has codes to do that. The only way I could see doing the MK thing would be to make an application that listens for the audio file to be played and then respond, but that doesn't exist at this time.

Any chance u do LED Blinky set up remote session, I am stuck, just built my own cab and I am very computer illiterate and just replaced buttons and have had pixelcade but I can not get the LED Blinky working at all and followed everything and watched vidoe

Which MAME version are yu using ? Cause in the past my ChaseHQ was blinking the lights as yours but after I update to 0.250 the lights stays On during pursuit. No longer blink.

I have multiple version of MAME installed depending on the ROMSet. I generally don't upgrade them once they're working unless there's something specific to the game that will benefit from the update. In the case of Chase HQ I'm running 0.179. See if reverting back to the previous version resolves the issue. Just add another emulator for the Arcade type (don't replace as the default) and that way you have multiple versions to choose from and you can set the game/rom to a specific version other than (default). Does that help? Chuck
