Yeah, this was only two weeks after Woodstock. This concert was three days like Woodstock. It occurred at the town of Krum, north of Dallas. At that time, all that was there was a race track and the town. Nowadays, you would be hard pressed to find the site. Too much urban sprawl.

I have heard the entire audio to this concert before. This clip, even though it's short, it covers a lot of songs and gives me a visual image to go along with what I heard previously. I've been a Zeppelin fan since I first heard them in 1971. In retrospect, I would have loved to have seen them in 1969.

I was stationed at Fort Hood Texas and my army buddies and I went to this festival. It was incredible. Zep were unbelievable. The number of people were no where near that of Woodstock, as if that mattered. It was dry, sunny and nothing got in the way of the music.

Wow thank you for that! ❤ beyond words the God given gift of this band. That festival and Live Rah are my favorite zeppelin fixes 😊 Seeing this one for the first time was so enthralling, took my breath away, gave chills and shed tears.😉I didn’t want to blink. My father passed down every vinyl, so I grew up on zeppelin. I was 6 at the time of this concert. 60 now and Grammy rocks! The experience made my day and my view list longer. Much love! Thank you for the blessing. ❤

Filmed by Bill Rogers and his crew of 4 guys who had no idea what they were doing. Bill lamented that if they had even the slightest little bit of organization, he would have become a millionaire. As it was, he ended up selling all of his master audio reels and his "work print" edit of the unfinished movie "Got No Shoes, Got No Blues" to me for 8K. I released the movie on VHS (this was WAY before digital anything) in partnership with my friends in Japan and we named our new bootleg record label Whoopy Cat Records. Watching this film footage brings back a lot of memories. I remember when they came to me for all my audio tapes because Bill had given all the original mag stock film reels to Historic Films. I told them to eat my shorts (well, not exactly but you get the idea). I mean, they just wanted me to give it all to them after I'd just paid 8K for the tapes!
