Thank God Mrs. Rose 🌹 is receiving her flowers 💐 while she can appreciate them. She will never know her full impact on all the people she’s mentored. I just pray that she knows she’s deeply loved and appreciated and still has much light to shine on this world ❤🎉

In response to its closing on Broadway after two weeks, all I have to say is the comment Jacobs made that " Black people are immune to eviction notices" was enough for me to know I wouldn't want to see it. Talk about clumping and stereotyping black people. Yeah good job.

May I be honest for a moment about why the seats are not being filled? 1. It's all about marketing. Lee Daniel's should have stayed behind the scenes and allow for this young man to shine. 2. Will and Jada should have ANONYMOUSLY donated tickets and direct people to the library to pick up tickets with your library card. 4. I was going to purchase tickets next month for my Birthday. Give it time. 3. Where is the LGBT community? Just hang in there. P.s. The audience should have gotten free tickets right there on the spot. That's called advertising.

Got a flyer in the mail about the play, saw that Lee Daniels was involved, so expected the show to be good. Lord, does it need some work. The idea for the plot is brilliant but the execution needs fine tuning. Some of the language was shocking. It was interesting to look around the theater to see who laughed or clapped at certain jokes. I expected black folks like myself to "get it". I'm not sure what basis the white folks, especially out of town tourists from who knows where, used to determine what they found funny. Overall I was uncomfortable from start to finish, and wished I could get my time & money back.

Well, a lot fine acting going on in the show! Acts like they never spoke to each other and moved on. Then the slip!!! Now I see even more great acting going on. The show is just in shambles, so how you going to do this type of reviews the show!! No, I have not seen the show, just read reviews. I have seen some clips and well, I’m sure that’s not the only problem with the show. More going on with the whole production and behind the scenes. They need to scrap and rework and come back!!
