Mr. Pace created such the remarkable Elvenking of Mirkwood. He combined in his image the unmatchable characters: the huge height and extraordinary grace of movements, stern male eyebrows and tender female gaze, capriciously pursed lips with firm and haughty expression of the mouth, power and fury of a real warrior with icy composure. The Greeks had a notion - charisma - an elegance combined with the power. That's exactly what he meant. Mr. Pace is worthy to be called the Elvenking of Mirkwood.

If only there was a Noldorian language instead of, you know, the Noldorin language? And re: another comment below, whether someone knew Quenya had nothing to do with their education. The Sindar King Elwë, better known as Elu Thingol of Doriath, forbade the use of the Quenya language anywhere inside of his kingdom after he learned of the Noldorin kinslaying of the Telerin elves. Stephen knows a lot more than the average fan, but he makes far too many mistakes for someone who ought to know that the intricacy of Professor Tolkien's works run quite deep.

I’ve wondered this too! I think it’s analogous to how bud light is the better selling beer vs craft brews. Films like ‘the fall’ are beloved amongst lovers of film and cinematography, ‘movie lovers’ like a good tried and true ‘movie formula’? I’m a craft beer fan, but I occasionally drink a bud light myself, people like what they like. Just because something is a best seller doesn’t make it good, and vice versa, just because something isn’t popular doesn’t mean it’s not
