This video shows the steps I went through in designing and 3d printing a case ejector for the Lee Pro 1000. I also show a modification I had to make on the press for smooth case ejection. My 3d printed design can be downloaded from www.thingivers... . The original basic design can be downloaded from here www.thingivers... .

I slotted both end holes of the plastic ejector. All I do is loosen the retaining screw to remove it. Your idea look good thanks for all your ideas. I used several including the case ejector and the primer pusher. I like the new primer feed but not having a 3D printer I may not get to build one. Thanks again for sharing.

I hope Lee paid the designer ! That's almost exactly what's on the current Pro 1000 !

Most simple and effective fix: Move that ejector pin to the opposite side of the retaining screw.

So many people get started in progressive reloading with the Lee Pro 1000. they are cantankerous and need fiddling with, however, I believe that people learn more about mechanical progressive presses because of it. I have two Dillon 55B's one in large priming, one in small priming. although they are not fully progressive, you have to advance the shell plate every cycle, it goes fast enough and I feel is the right speed for quality rounds. would I own a Lee machine again, Sure, there isn't anything wrong with them and they load just as good ammo as the more expensive presses on the market, however, they need parts from time to time and Maintainance adjustment. Good video, keep them coming-Dave

I have one of the original Pro 1000's like your picture with the 3 holes in the shell plate. And I dont have an issue with the ejection of the rounds. I just have the primer issue. Which I fixed using your original method. But I am going to see if my friend will 3d printer that new primer system you have.

Wow!! That was incredible! Have you tried to tackle the primer feeding issue? I'm at my wits and with this press. I wouldn't have to hand prime. Lee Precision needs to hire you!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5yoqqyudrF_nqc&ab_channel=NotAnExpert so far this video is the best system I have found for priming. An important fix to do is kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGatnqSdpLOpbMk&ab_channel=NotAnExpert read the comments below because other people have suggested easier fixes. Hey I see you made a metal blocker for your primer system. I'm printing it out now, thanks btw, should I skip the 3d printed blocker and just make the 1st one out of metal?

The nice thing about plastic is that if something gets jammed it will break and not hurt the other parts of the machine. And of course if the plastic breaks just print another.

I see that you have tons of modifications and repairs done to the Lee, would you still recomend the Lee Pro 1000?

The lee pro 1000 has suited me well, but if I had to start all over I would take a serious look at the 4000. It has a simpler primer system (less problems), a fourth station and the ability to do more rifle cartridges than the 1000.
