Actually you should check some translations of the japanese ver cause it is not the same as the english ver, it doesn't even have the same name actually (song of a broken world), all 3 versions has been made as different songs for different contexts in the game (english > 2B, japanese > 9S, chaos > A2)

It's amazing how that end credits mini-game really makes you feel you're apart of something so much bigger. Everyone who was there before you, strangers from around the world returning to a place by your side. Each one willing to sacrifice themselves for you so you to can stand were they stood, a moment of victory, before you yourself willingly return. Relinquishing all you've fought so long and hard to achieve. To continue to fight along side another in their time of need so they too can stand where you stood. I rarely play single player games but I randomly downloaded NieR Automata from game pass after recognizing it as something I had seen a trailer for years ago and had forgotten about. I knew nothing about NieR when I dove headfirst into Automata. Now...let me you tell you guys. I played it for like a week straight until I got all the relevant endings to see everything and I refuse to ever play it again. Why? Because I feel it would devalue such an amazing experience. It was genuinely a life experience that I'm going to remember for a long time. There was a point where I no longer felt like I was playing a video game. The story, music, and emotion culminating with the intensity and pacing towards the end...it felt like I was playing art. It was just beautiful. I've never been moved by a game like that in my life. This song still gives me chills, no matter who sings it.

Seguramente sea un comentario en español que pase desapercibido. Pero, aun así, quiero dejar mi comentario acá. Realmente, el amor, el empeño y el cariño que le pusieron a este cover en todos los aspectos es increíblemente notorio, es realmente allegadero y hermoso. La canción de por si es hermosa, pero la voz de este increíble dueto hace que sea realmente igual de hermoso que el original. Es una canción que llega a mi corazón en todos los sentidos, puesto que NieR: Automata es un juego muy importante en mi vida en muchos sentidos posibles, y este cover es realmente hermoso escucharlo. Gracias por hacerlo, mil veces gracias.

When I first heard this song I started crying it instantly reminded me of my cousin she was getting over using drugs and alcohol as well as fighting cancer but she was sadly taken from the world thank you for this song

Andrea dragon hunter, you're not alone. Both of my grandfathers, my Wisconsinite grandpa, passed away due to cardiovascular shock (heart failure) back almost 12 years ago. My southern grandpa passed away due to lung cancer. It was almost 4 years ago.

OMG OMG OMG YES YES YES! I absolutely love this song! I swear, playing NieR: Automata in 2019 was defining for me. That was an emotional rollercoaster of a year for my family, and I play this song whenever I feel rather sad.

Take a moment to consider this... Not only was the composer a musical genius (and the musicians fantastic) but, arguably even more so, the director who strategically placed each of these songs just where they needed to be for maximum emotional damage was a mastermind. Each song has it's underlying Nier theme to it. It's as if throughout the game each song built off each other and this one would come off as a finale even if there weren't a credits indicating the end. The music itself is designed almost to be nostalgic as it sounds so familiar to other songs you've heard throughout the game reminding you of your journey, hence the emotional damage and the stupid genius of this games music leading to this point. Also the English take here is fantastic!
