It's been 20 years and this band still keeps going until now. one of my favourite visual kei bands and I'm still listening to their songs until now. you should react to their song called Filth in the Beauty, obviously one of their top songs. And btw at the chorus part, he was actually said "Can you hear the counting song of pain?" 😂

Know nothing about this genre but it’s got a good fan base. I dug it. Shane, I was expecting to see the Grudge girl when the lights came back on.

Thanks for reacting to The Gazette, it's my favourite Visual Kei band. :) But sorry, Band-Maid and Lovebites are not Visual Kei.

Miss Althea has a healthy love of Japanese metal as I do with Mongolian metal. The Gazette are an amazing band. Great song. I just love how you don't redo your videos if something out the ordinary happens.

I am far from being an aficionado...I am honestly limited to X Japan/hide and this band...you can factor EZO and Loudness in there, too. I only started listening to The GazettE about a month ago, after 3 years of balking only because I was so annoyed by the ridiculous unsubstantiated rumors about Ruki being hide's son. Had I known how blown away I was going to be, I would have taken the plunge a lot sooner! I am already getting anxious for their next album, which is due to drop in a couple of months I believe...and even more anxious if they tour the States and come anywhere near me!

A power outage, seriously?!? 😹😈 That was just TOO GOOD for a long list of reasons which I shall not get into...if only I had submitted a video request from one of the tracks off their very dark album Dogma, then it would have been even better! The lyrics are half in English; what Ruki was saying was, "Can you hear the counting song of pain, baby?" But you put forth a good guess! The GazettE actually have 10 albums (not 9)....their first album, Disorder, is not on Spotify so anyone going by those stats is being short-changed. They also have 6 EPs (that are not on Spotify, either...at least as far as I know). I am curious and anxious to see what others suggest/recommend as their material is all over the place style-wise...while industrial/nu-metal/prog rock is the base, you never know what flavor is going to be incorporated from track to track...maybe punk, maybe death metal, maybe pop, maybe rockabilly....you name it. And they have some beautiful ballads, too. It's just DELICIOUS! 🤘❤ I also get emotional with a good deal of it as I feel like they have carried the torch for hide's concept of "psyborg rock" and taken it to the next level. I am sure he is smiling down upon them from Rock & Roll Heaven! And thank you for not outing my mad crush on Uruha. OH, damn.... 😹😹
