I never understood why the families didn't whack them all in the beginning. A war looks bad for all the families. The commission was useless they let so much slide because they only cared about their crew. The mob never was firm on any rule. They didn't whack enough people or they whacked the wrong people. They should of chose the boss and said if anybody has problem than go to another family or you'll be whacked. Also there were so many Columbos in jail and it seemed like war of no thought. The commission was so damn usless. Joe Columbo should have never beem the boss, but the commission just gave him the position for snitching on a possible conflict. If Paul Castellono never got killed and Rudy the clown got a surprise like Columbo than I think the mob would be mostly legitimate and still abundant.

I'm not even 4 min in and you guys have made all kinds of mistakes. #1 Frankie Chestnut Massara wasn't killed in the war but by a groups of kids who late became members like Dino Calabro and Tommy Gioli. # 2 Scarpa was not s captain but under Chucky Russo #3 even if Orena had managed to kill Scarpa it would not have ended the war. Junior had several relatives that were capos and Allie Jr was getting out soon so they sprint have just hadn't the family over because one man got killed
