The narco lore (a whole album of songs, corridos, written for this game, on the radio, about the narco bosses, something musicians actually do in Mexico for narcos), the lore which is from real life:a real life problem in our world, makes break point feel like a b-movie, afterschool special. The emptiness of Break Point makes if feel like an unrealistic unconvincing place, that isn't even 1% as atmospheric as wildlands. Not to mention how much better the story campaign is spread out, across the whole world in WL, giving you a reason to go everywhere...not just because BP gave you a marker, on the opposite side of the map, to go on a wild goose, scavenger hunt for uninteresting intel. The world here, feels alive, and the mountains (I am from a mountainous place), are probably the closer to scale mountains I have seen in a game...and there are alot of them, makeing it that much better. Oh, and I don't think it's dumb.
@PurpleHotcake Жыл бұрын
You know what's crazier? That some of the narcos in game seems to be based on real life narcos, like when I found out El pozolero did the same thing that his real life counter part, I was mind blown, or la reina de belleza or the dead c.i.a agent, maan it's crazy and well... pretty sad for my country lol (Mexico) but yeah great game, looks like ubisoft did a really in depth research for this game

This game is SICK. ESPECIALLY for guys like me who served and play all the time with other vet buddies. It's one of the most tactical games out there and one of the most FUN - IF you play it the right way. You can also just run and gun, shooting any tango that moves and blowing shit up while driving around GTA style. SOOOO underrated. Best Ghost Recon game of the entire series imho - followed closely by Breakpoint, which SHOULD have been better than Wildlands in all sincerity. But we're just the fans who buy and play these games - why would they listen to US?

Next time you Jump in a plane or chopper.. listen for the line 'Sure are a lot of lights and buttons up here' why would a trained Black OP special forces dude say something like that, that clearly knows how to fly a chopper and don't make me mention the setting. We're ruthlessly hunting Sicarios. And Sicarios are fucking no joke. So to me I feel the developer didn't have the dialog be to hard for lesser IQ gamers to understand and follow. More like friends out on a adventure, I wish it had a bit more of a darker tone to it

I sympathize with the your ending. The Ghost Recon series, more specifically Advanced Warfighter, was the very first video game I ever played on the OG Xbox. And in an era where corporate greed and ignorance have either killed a franchise, watch them fade into obscurity, or are being mismanaged, this is one of the few franchises that while having several bumps along the road still maintains is core values. I have been a fan of this series since 2006 and hope that the next installment of the series actually builds upon what made Wildlands great. I'm willing to hold out hope for Ghost Recon.
@elhorrendo702611 ай бұрын
I had and played the original first Ghost Recon and the original Rainbow Six. They were hard core, tactical, strategic and unforgiving. But they were on the right track. Now R6 is so ridiculous, but also prefers the company of the same sex. Especially in bed. GRW is the closest thing to the original vision of both GR and R6. Now one of the OG devs for both games has his own studio. Keep your eye on Ground Branch. A game that rewards tactical thinking over both reflex and network speed/ping. It's Co-op. PVP is for the birds, not for real operators, like in Ground Branch.

Yeah man. I’ve been dedicated to the liberation of Bolivia from Santa Blanca since not long after release. Played through several times, played through Ghost Mode once completely and working on a couple of other Ghost Mode slots to keep it fresh. Occasionally I’ve taken a break and gone back to payday 2, then I get all juiced up for the continued mission of my Task Force. Santa Muerte’s Angels. Constructed an entire backstory that fits with the lore of GRW. Initially using our stealth and tactical precision and including elements of Santa Muerte in our uniforms and camo as the psy-ops aspect of our mission by feeding on the superstitions of local and cartel culture; I loved imagining the terror spread among the enemy ranks from rumours of entire outposts etc being eliminated without detection, silently, with no surviving witnesses and often done entirely bare handed (CQC). Ender the guidance of Task Force leader (known only as El Horrendo) the GhoSt unit realised they were in fact the Devine messengers of Santa Muerte, our hands and our righteous work, guided by Santa Muerte herself. After refusing to rotate back, SMA disappeared into the jungles, arid regions and even cities and towns of Bolivia, vigilantly carrying out our mission. While classified (mostly redacted) CIA documentation eludes to a small special forces element having been deployed by the US govt, nothing is known about the individuals of the unit and the government(s) deny any such involvement in Bolivia, buchons, corrupt officials and military continue to be eliminated or “disappeared”... desaparesito... even entire MOBs are later discovered without a single living soul remaining with no signs of a firefight or even a disturbance. Only the occasional buchon will find himself in the grasp of Santa Muerte’s messengers after his entire armed guard has been silently dispatched. He himself only to be released so he may remind (after regaining consciousness) his Jefes and the people of Bolivia that Santa Muerte watches from every shadow and that her faithful agents a re always present, harvesting the souls of the wicked, cruel and corrupt and deliver them to her. Faces never identifiable, except in the guise of the skull, seemingly having appeared from nowhere all too late, already in the grasp of the messenger of the bony lady. I love it!

Ghost mode and the consistent (even now) cycling of daily challenges keeps this game going. Loving Ghost mode. But I don't trust anyone else to join me so far. And although sync shot is usually reliable, sometimes my AI team members just stand there and watch me bleed out when I'm downed after being detected/shot for the first time in weeks! Ps, I am Tier 1, Ranger. Other players don't realise how realistic it is because they don't have the balls to play Ghost mode and reach Tier 1 and survive by never being detected. In real life, if you're shot, you're lucky to survive and survive in tact, still able to perform as a Tip of the spear Ghost Operator. Guns kill. So a professional (and not a moron) avoids being detected and shot at all costs =D

The only thing that I don't like about the game is when you are backing up a vehicle and the camera spins. Is there a way to stop that or how do you use that feature? I have done a game and reached Tier 1 without any collections, skill points or missions completed. I can now start a new game from the very beginning in Tier 1. This makes the game very hard and extremely fun in extreme difficult mode. I play without any skills which makes it even harder. I love the challenge.

One of the best aspects of Ghost Recon Wildlands is the daily solo and Task Force challenges. Apart from playing in Ghost Mode, this helps to keep the game fresh. Ubisoft May have made a lot of mistakes, but they also got a whole lot right in this game. Great Video on a Great Game :) I will say that your opinion on the Ribera-40002 connection issue is one that's based on console servers for which Ubisoft actually seems to care about those servers as the console cash is their main bread & butter now but, when you've got as many hours as I've put into GRW (since spring 2017) and you start getting these errors 70 to 80% of the time especially on weekends which is the one time I'm off work and free to play GRW with friends well, then it becomes a bit more than just a minor issue...I mean you should know that the co-op play is one of the best things in the game, so since Ubisoft have recently closed several of their older game's online servers and now we're a bit worried that our beloved GRW could be next :/

I know, it's a wack ass bug. But having never experienced it I can't honestly say it ruins the game for me. I also think it's finicky enough that there do seem to be a few temporary workarounds for it. But your worrying is understandable. I too really hope they fix it.

It is a terrific game. Oddly, I’ve been putting off and putting off this game since I got it. Don’t ask me why. I have no idea. But now, years later, I’m playing this thing and I’m thinking to myself, holy crap. This is good.

I've played and i'm still playing this game a lot, and it's crazy how the game looks different with all the hud you have. You should try to play with ZERO hud to find a completely new game.

Major, I don’t say this often, but you’re easily one of the best new channels I’ve seen so far.

I’m sad to admit it, but I just started playing Wildlands. It’s crazy how good this game is. It’s crazy how good the graphics are. It’s just crazy.

Me and my friends used to have the Ribera error pretty often in the last months, but we think we found a way to avoid it. If you want to play coop, don't try to enter in one another's game as soon as you loaded the game. First, each one of you must load their single game, then you can look for your friend's status and join someone else's game. This way you should be able to avoid Ribera. Give it a try. Good luck!

Thanks for posting that. There seem to be a handful of ways around the Ribera error. I've honestly never experienced it but many people have had Bigfoot sightings and I don't consider (all of) them liars.

Not to mention the mods .... they really enhance it as well . I've been to Guatemala , and its much like bolivia . And yes its very laid back everyday , just like in the game .

I didn't start playing GRWL til year after release a buddy of mine got me into it. And i agree it is one of the greatest if not THE greatest game ever other developers need to take a page out of Ubisofts book.

I'm starting to think that Mr.TimtheTatMan has a more low key KZbin channel. It's cool man nice to hear you talking about a game not named CoD:Warzone. And it is a breath of fresh air thanks "Timmy!" Obviously I am just speaking in Jest, but still can't deny he sounds like "The 2 time's" little buddy "The 2 Ton." Anyways later kids.
