What’s better in this is that the survivors have different jobs in this timeline: coach, instead of being a high school coach, is now a police officer.

So the fact about Zoey reacting about the smoker was her father (not Coach) was turned into a smoker and thats how she lost her voice when the smoker grabbed her so Coach saved her and has become a father figure to her.

White Lies is one if the best SFMs I've seen. It takes the characters and setting of L4D and tells a whole new story. Can't wait for the next episode.

Ohh long have we waited, so awesome to see you two finally reacting to White Lies! Better buckle up for the other episodes, because this is gonna be a blast! Also my guess for why Zoey is so terryfied of Smokers is that since she's mute in this series, she can't scream if she gets dragged away since Smokers specialize in seperating people from the group and dragging them away. I'm not sure if it gets explained later on, I dont quite remember, but that's my guess! Glad you two enjoy it so far!

The creator made some character cards and it said that Zoey lost her vocal cords when a Smoker attacked her, just before Coach founded her, IIRC. So you were kinda right.

White Lies is a pretty solid mixing of the games together along with fan stuff that really stuck with the fandom over time. It also uses things that were cut from the game because of time or different reactions by fans during testing, such as the hunter screaming being originally from another zombie and part 2 having militarized versions versions of the special infected, along with 'TeenAngst' aka Zoey's original model being a separate character.

No way. A year ago I saw all your reactions to the other L4D series, and I looked for a reaction to White Lie but couldn't find it. It was all a dream until today, I only hope you guys continue to watch it until the end, I will leave my like on each video to support ^^.

FUN FACT: when hunter alert the horde the scream was supposed to be on the special infected called the screamer but the developers decide to not make him because he's just too annoying for the survivors so they put the scream to the hunter but you can see his concept art on google.

Would be really cool if this became a yearly tradition. Watching a L4D2 series each oktober. Tasty Cools & TheApostle7's series are also really good and you guys should check those out next year!

Left 4 Dead were two of my favorite games.... except the carnival level. I also had to rewind this video a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things but was that the damn Hunter attached to the bottom of the helicopter? forget tanks and smokers. that one's being a real nemesis. and since I can't help but nerd, I do like that while the enemies are zombie-like, they're not really zombies. they're living people who've been taken over by a mutagenic virus that massively increases aggression at the cost of losing higher brain functions. I never did understand the appeal of the slow, shambling corpses zombie type. ever.
