Excellent series! I'm an RN. It wasn't until I had a cardaic cath, in my fourties, that it was discovered that my left main coronary artery is absent. I have never had a problem, but it truly was a surprise!

A CT scan was done on me with the following conclusion: "Predominant calcified atherosclerosis demonstrated in relation to the left main stem ostium which causes luminal diameter narrowing of 25%". How serious is this condition?

Definitely discuss this with the physician who ordered this test for you. They should discuss the results and give you a medical plan.
