My sisters and I read all the series almost 20 years ago and I remembered how we hated waiting for the next book. It brought us together in some way. I was thinking about the times we live right now and how this is such a good read. In quarantine, I'm glad I found this. Just listening to the full dramatized, action pact, great characters, real-life like makes it seem really real. The Word of God is also encouraging in these audiobooks. I just love it

I bought all the books & all the Drama tapes when they came out. I absolutely loved the whole thing. Right at $500.00’s worth. I lent them to a friend & they left them on their back porch & they got wet & I never saw them again. I was sick. I was so grateful to find these Dramatized Series Version again on KZbin. Doubtful there'd hav been anything like that really allowed. Seems like only allegedly "religious " stuff makes it mainstream if its full of misleading or twisted truth. Kinda like "Noah" the movie 4 example?

@@lisadarling74 no, it’s just because most religious programming is really cheaply acted and written. All the good guys are one religion. All the bad guys are a different religion or not religious. They have no depth to the characters. The effects are cheap. The acting is bad and cheesy. The message is over the top. There are good religious shows produced by other countries. Ertugrul is a very popular Turkish show on Netflix. Umar ibn Khatabb is a series you can find online. I agree this would be a fantastic series for tv, even if they cut down on some of the religious stuff and made it less in-your-face. I’m not a fan of the anti-Catholic sentiment from this series, but at least the majority of characters have depth beyond “Christian good, everyone else bad”.

3:43:15 "That was my secret lover. I keep him under the bed". Loretta is officially my favorite character. That comment made me spit out my water because Bucks reaction to "do you want the honest truth?" Where he mumbled "Loretta" under his breath I actually thought she was going to give him up. That reply or answer that she gave was so unpredictable and made me laugh really hard. I havent laughed that hard in my entire life. It literally made me spit out and choke on my water because I was mid-sip when she said that.

That must've been an interesting scene to record in the studio. In audio drama, VOICE sells the story. We 'see' Ray Steele, pinning Carpathia against the wall of the small plane or chopper. I can almost imagine Tom McElroy in full vocal 'rage' while looking at poor Roger Mueller in the next booth, eyes as big as saucers, impressed but even a tad intimidated. If any production people are reading these posts, and know the BtS's of the recordings of this series, and you have stories to share, please , pretty please, do share.

Ray was unhinged, angry contemplating the possibility he just lost another wife...forced to work for the man responsible for so much death and destruction. It is a scene I feel I myself would play out in his situation.

A bit puzzled about the whole Hattie thing as far as her having an abortion. The way she dallied back and forth, the kid would have been in college by the time she made up her mind! That's what makes no sense. The rapture is supposed to be imminent. As in, it could happen any time. Post trib rapture has believers going up to heaven one minute, (almost literally) and returning with Christ minutes later? We'd have jet lag! On top of which, believers are NOT appointed to wrath. The Tribulation is God's time of wrath as well as His FINAL attempt to reach those who are undecided. Christians have CHRIST'S righteousness, not our own.
