This story is a great encouragement as I listen to the gospel being preached over and over and over again. I love that God's glory is so on display in book 10. I know there's a lot of intercommunity debate as to whether or not beleivers will be raptured before the great tribulation or after. The writers took a lot of flack for their interpretation. To me none of that matters because I know people got saved through these books, by the mercy of God. And as people listen to these stories because they stumble across these uploads "accidentally" on KZbin, I know God will use them again to save countless others.

I really wish the Left Behind movies with Kirk Cameron would have been made more to the book. I mean Chelsea Noble who played Hattie, the actor who played Nicolae Carpathia, the actor who played Rayford Steele, were perfect and how I pictured them.

I thought the whole cast was great, it was the quality, budget and the fact that they gutted so much from the books, I personally think is why the movies didn't do so well. But you know who knows, somebody with the right budgeting, good cast, does a Netflix series, where they have everything from these wonderful books displayed in the series, I'd say it would do very well, that's just my opinion.

When I heard Hattie go up against Nicholae, I just thought she only did that because Chaim was too chicken to go up against Carpathia himself. So God had to resort to plan B which was Hattie who did not pull any punches. And then Leon struck her down but jokes on him because Hattie crossed the finish line and woke up in Heaven.

Of course, Jesus has NO equal, BUT Anti-Christ HAS to genuinely make people believe that he can best Christ, or there's no fight. While, properly, there IS *NO* contest, and the enemy knows this (Rev 12:12) Jerry Jenkins did a masterful job of filling Carpathia with ABSOLUTELY EGO. How DELICIOUS that he made his vulnerability known to his enemy (Chiam/ Micah) when he admitted he had to concede something in order to get the plague of boils lifted. How the mighty have fallen. 😁

This is the greatest series I have ever read. I have all the left behind books and all the audio CDs. It has really helped my love for God and his Word. These predictions are being fulfilled, and it is good to know that one day The Lord, Jesus Christ will be King over all the earth. Heaven is our victory. The atheists false religions and all Christ rejecting sinners will know that Jesus Christ truly is God!!!! Amen and Amen!

The sad thing about Hattie's death is the fact Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins they should have let Hattie reunite with her baby. Hattie's story remind me of Mary Magdalene and the Woman at the Well. I know the baby was conceived with the antichrist but still Hattie had none of her earthly family to greet her. I just think Ray and Hattie were the best written characters.

Weirdly, the series embodies the pro-choice movement’s criticism (and one I generally disagree with) of the pro-life movement: the Tribulation Force wanted the baby born but after that, it’s on its own. In novels at least Buck even worries that Chloe might want to adopt the baby, since it’s the child of the antichrist and he thinks that’s gross. After at least three books, three episodes, of the characters insisting that the child in Hattie’s womb is loved by God and has a soul, in the end they…they just incinerate its body, like it’s trash, don’t even say a prayer for it, and never discuss it again. Instead, we are told and told and told that the baby is already created in the image of God, but we are shown that both the characters and the authors viewed it as trash. A pro-choice author couldn’t write a more damning depiction of the pro-life movement if they sat down and tried. Hattie and her baby should have been reunited in Heaven, that would’ve been so touching.

This co-op thing is for a good cause-- she's willing to sacrifice herself to help fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Would she rather let them starve when they can't buy because of the refusal to take the Mark of the Beast? Besides whatever happens would not matter to Kenny anyway, if you had listened to the past episodes, Jesus should return 7 years after the Rapture, their time is still short whether they live or die. Kenny will still never have a childhood, BUT things WILL GET BETTER WHEN THE LORD RETURNS; THAT IS A PROMISE

Man, these people seriously knew how to add some classic comedy into the most of the most terrible time period in history. Man: He's shooting blanks G.C: Blanks? Would you bet your life on that? Man: Theres no way that you could be shooting--- (Shot) G.C: Now you will die old man. (Another shot missed) G.C: I cant believe it. I wont miss this time. And then the fact that he literally put the barrel of the gun up against his knee caps and it still didnt effect him. This entire scene is one of my favorites because of the fact that the actors are so serious but the entire encounter is hilarious from an outsider perspective. My favorite part is how annoyed the G.C is and the fact that the bullet actually hit someone else who claimed that he was using blanks and then it not working again when he thought it was going to work. I think the thing that I love the most about it is the fact that God is actually going to be working just like this during the entire 7 years. He is going to return to the way that He operated in the Old Testament. Literally striking dead those who threaten to harm His chosen as well as doing more frequent miracles because theres only 7 years left so He's going to do all that He can to get as many people saved as possible and in order to do that He would actually need to personally intervene I never before seen ways. At least since the exodus.

My whole issue with all of these books is the rationalization of sin for the sake of God's will.... stealing, lying, killing, pickpocketing etc.... and much MUCH more.... like, it's OK now??? No.... it's skewed.... even after being saved, you have to continue to repent and TURN AWAY from sin.... LOVE your enemies etc. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes but it's the blind leading the blind in these books and to make matters worse, people are reading these thinking this is what the "church" looks like or is suppose to... breaks my heart and I pray the Lord lead all people to the truth, open their eyes and convict their souls. Remember, all of the characters have been Christians less than seven years. The series does a good job of showing the struggle with sin. The authors definitely did not glorify sin. Even after being a Christian my whole life, there are still challenges I face and fail. It is God’s grace that keeps me moving forward as he continues to make me more and more like Him.

What a difference between the Chiam of the first two books. Even in the third, he was still on Carpathia's side, but with Leon on the picture, the relationship began to fray. Aye, the one who called himself God couldn't see his former friend and aide, even in disguise. Chiam's voice, alone, should have been enough to tip almighty Carpathia off to the man's identity.

I love this... people have more positive things to say about Carpathia than Chloe. The Anti-Christ is at least FUNNY while Chloe is UNLIKEABLE.. True, on both counts.. I guess Jerry wanted to give Carpathia 'human' qualities so he doesn't come off like a Snidely Whiplash type cartoon bad guy; tying Christians and Jews to the railroad tracks. There had to be SOMETHING people could like about him. In the beginning, that was easy. Ah, yes MSzzzz *I'm ALL that and a side of fries* Steele-Williams. She declared her name as if people were supposed to be impressed. *"I'm Chloe Steele-Williams"* Well Yippee, Hurray, yahoo! Mz *I AM WOMAN* didn't have the good sense to read Matthew 24 before deciding to have a baby?! Did she even listen to Bruce's talks about what would happen in the months and years to come. I would understand if she accidentally ended up *pregnant* , but she did this on PURPOSE. No thought was given to how this child would live, in the MESS the world was in. Not to mention trying to provide for a child when they were shuffling along. JESUS SAID, *"Woe to those who were expecting children and those who were nursing in those days"* Did Ms University- taught CHLOE think that those verses didn't apply to her? And pestering her father to let her go on a dangerous mission when she had a baby... YEAH, THAT made sense. Makes me ALMOST wish the GC did kidnap Kenny, while she was out PROVING herself.

The Bible never says Christians get the mark, right? Where did he get the idea? I don’t like where the author wandered into this idea since eternity is on the line. Jeff, no what I am referring to is the character in this book as the young Chinese guy who is employed by the “global community” as a computer guy and is forced by his father to take the mark of the beast, even though he is secretly a Christian. And they were all marveling how he could have the seal of God AND the mark of the beast at the same time... and apparently in the book it says they knocked him out to give it to him so he is ok... because he didn’t agree to it. I don’t know, it just seems inconsistent with the Scripture .

Anna P B I understand your point. The answer they give later on in the series will explain how this “could” happen. (I believe it’s in #10 or #11) That being said, the authors wanted to tell a story that is compelling to the intended audience and captures the nature of what is written in scripture. Everything may not match 100% but the core does line up with what is written. The way I have always described this series to friends is that this is a fictional account of non-fictional future events. I have been challenged personally in my relationship with Christ through this series and I hope you have been as well.

Jeff, I’m glad it has helped your walk... and I know my fight isn’t with you. I do enjoy the series... I just have a difficult time when people take liberties with Scripture and changing it... especially when God says not to add or take away from this book of prophecy. It really is important to God... so I take it as truth and a warning. Here’s the verse... “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18-19

@@Apb23 I personally dont see the mark being forced on you in the sense that you literally physically could not resist as being the same as taking the mark by your own choice. This series actually addresses this later on when the fall of Babylon the great happens and Ray meets someone who willingly took the mark. Ray explained to her that God loved her. She was wondering why she could no longer be saved and Ray agreed that she couldn't but that he didnt know why either. So they dont neccesarily change scripture because they address both situations. Also, the situation with Chang seems to be the only situation in the entire series that is like that. They make multiple references to scripture as to how taking the mark is a one and done deal. You cannot be saved after taking the mark so they dont ignore that part of scripture

There's no scripture that supports this. In fact, there's evidence that says otherwise. Specifically in the book of Revelation. There's no evidence in scripture that There's no second chance after the rapture

Love this dramatization, and love the books. But good Lord, could they have picked worse, voice actors to play Chang’s parents? Could they not find actual Chinese actors to these roles? it is literally the most stereotypical Chinese accent you could ever find… Replacing Rs with Ls and vice versa. It doesn’t offend me… Because I’m not a sensitive little snowflake, but it’s embarrassingly bad.
