Fun! I like how you started out with a simple left hand pattern and then built it up to the traditional blues pattern.

Thank you for these tutorials. I've played piano awhile but I'm new to Boogie Woogie and Blues. Your lessons are extremely helpful!

Tip # 2: When you can play the left hand pattern without thinking about it, letting the muscle memory do all the work, then accompany that left hand playing simple chords in the right. Establish a rock or blues rhythm between the two hands that feels natural to you. Start out SLOW and work your way up to speed. SLOW means as slow as you can go.

Like the nice relaxed way you teach ..I m constantly looking for inspiration and sharpening my skills.. awhile back I made a choice to only occasionally do classical.. I like styles like Oscar Peterson used. Some thoughts. : about forty years ago my teacher taught me one you probably teach.. just 1 to 8 3 4 b5 5 1 and repeat. About a year or so ago I did it .. I haven't done it for years.. but I now do it quite naturally.. my brain worked on it and it was worked out...

Tip #3: You will find it easier in the beginning to play VERY SLOW blues using both hands to help your hands learn how to co-ordinate with each other. Listen to other blues pianists and hear how SLOW some of them go for certain songs. Keep playing and it will come together- guaranteed. We’re only human and the learning process takes time.

Tip 1: Repetition is the key. Practice the left hand pattern with no action in the right hand. Start out SLOW. Just play that left hand pattern over and over and over and … How long should you practice this way? Until you can play each chord’s pattern without thinking about it. If you can talk to someone one the phone or watch TV while you’re playing that left hand with no errors, then you got it. Repetition establishes that body-mind condition: muscle memory.

just when I thought I was ready for the next-right hand-I gotta talk on the phone too. Yikes. I'll be back in a year.

That's very interesting, my question is, when we play blues or jazz do we use certain scales or we improvise just to sound '''weird'''' or more '''jazzy''' you know what i mean. So are they any scales,.... can you teach us please

You are not alone. Left - right hand independence is a challenge for all players at all levels. But over time you will get it. Don’t worry how many days or weeks it will take you. It’s worth mastering it. I posted 3 tips for you.
