Thank you! You are a great teacher! Your voice, diction, speed, experience . I've been fighting this. At 76 I'm trying to learn. Not many people are left handed or will tackle the challenge. Years ago, I learned to croknit loved it Made many baby blankets will refer to this video a lot!!! Also, will begin to follow you. And hope to gain the experience and confidence to create more things! ❤❤❤

Dear @BonnieBayCrochet. Thank you so much for sharing your gift. This past Sunday, I was frustrated and sad because I was not learning how to crochet. Video after video was an epic fail and $200 of yarn, hooks, and crochet accessories....I was thinking of donating everything to someone who has the needed skills. AND THEN I saw your video, and what a blessing! I'm left ✋️ handed and it was much easier to follow along with you. You explained everything in detail at a slow, understandable pace. Your camera was also close enough to visually see what you were stitching and describing. In 48 hours, I completed two washcloths, and I'm looking forward to learning more from your other videos. Thank you again for sharing your 🎁 gift.

Thank you for your story! This really blessed me tonight CCMetaTraveler. I have hundreds of left-handed videos waiting for you on my channel when you are ready. If you are looking for a specific design on my channel, just type that name and add "left-handed" and it should come up for you. Wishing you all the best!!

I'm glad I searched left handed crochet. My mother in law has tried teaching me to chain but I just couldn't get it because she's right handed. Thank you for this video!!!

I love how unlike most beginner videos, you slow down and explain exactly what needs to be done! You have made my work go from an absolute mess to something that looks really good. Thank you!!

Bonnie really helped me since I am left handed and have been trying to teach myself she made everything so much easier. I am looking forward to learning more patterns to crochet in the future.

Thank you Peggy! If ever you don’t see a left-handed version of a design, put the title in the search bar and add “left-handed” or contact me. They are here somewhere!😊❤️

I am so glad to see a left hander crochet even though my brain has learned to follow right handers. Thank you very much.

All my joy to serve you Shanie! Left-handers are among the most creative just to survive in this right-handed world. You must be among the most patient too! Blessings...

Thank you. Even though I’m a lefty, I have always awkwardly knitted right handed albeit slowly. I can’t wait to try this dishrag. It will be my first time crocheting.

it is hard to find someone who is a lefty to teach me how to crochet

Haley, have you tried your local yarn store? Sometimes the craft stores (Michael's, AC Moore, etc) have crochet classes, but you will have to check with them. I do have beginning videos on my channel, as do many others, but there is nothing better than sitting down with a skilled crocheter to get you off to a good start. I do hope you can find someone to help you out!

so, first, thank you for the video, trying to learn, but facing an issue, that I didn't think would be one, I have cerebral palsy on my right side, so holding things is a challenge, even yarn, and keeping tension is nigh impossible. I did get the slip knot done though, so bonus there. Any tips? most videos say "easy for beginners" but most don't take into account disabilities like mine, or others, as most people have full use of both hands. Thank you.

You may try googling one handed crochet. I know that there are crocheters out there who have learned to attach the yarn to a device to hold for them because of missing a hand due to either amputation or birth defect.

I'm new to crotcheting and I'm SUPER slow, It took me 20 minutes to do 25 chain stitches and then 25 single stitches...How long did it take you to go fast?
@BonnieBayCrochet2 ай бұрын
@@allyloftness1219 not too long. Definitely give yourself time to develop muscle memory and even stitches. Once that is established it becomes as easy as walking without thinking. 😊
