These cabbage rolls look delicious. My grandmother was from Hungary, she emigrated here to the US in 1914 when she was 13 years old. She made cabbage rolls with a filling made from ground beef, egg, rice, and diced onion. She would put them in a huge pot and cover them with tomato juice and boil them. We ate them with buttered rye bread. Delicious.

My grandmother had immigrant parents from Ukraine and russia and she cooked Holubtsi all the time for us. So delicious! She called them pigs in a blanket. Easier for us to say when we were young. I never met my great grandfather but my Ukrainian great grandmother was amazing. Tough woman, she had a farm just like this when she was younger. I love these videos

In Austria we call them "Krautrouladen". My wife makes them very tasty, unfortunately not in the outdoor kitchen :) All your videos have a very peaceful vibe. Brings back belief in humankind. At least for some short minutes.
