Stuart, first and foremost, never change your style of presentation. You don’t waste any words and that is greatly appreciated. The way you teach resonates with the way I learn. I have never been taught the legwork that you prescribe. There’s no question, I move laterally through the ball and feel that I don’t finish my swing. It isn’t that I don’t want to, it’s that there is no rotational energy left when I have loaded my right side and then shifted laterally. I can’t wait to get out to the range and try what you are recommending. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I happily subscribed to your channel!

You are brilliant.. I have been a student of this game for many, many years and even though I consider myself a “smart guy” , the golf swing has proved me wrong.. You have got me through kindergarten. Yea. Now the journey begins. Thank you.

Brilliant presentation--love your stuff because it challenges what I "think" I know! At 73 yo, I have been struggling to lengthen my backswing and have realized that a sway of the hips away from target in the bswing actually blocks my turn and limits my bswing. I have been watching a lot of Hogan's footwork lately and you see exactly what you present here!

Got this in one take as I’ve seen so many of your videos now. My nephew plays off 12 my son 15 I’m 19 but have only practiced on my swing this year . At the ripe old age of 56 never struck it better . My aim is 12 next year so with this channel I’m sure I will get there . Loving golf stu ✋

Stuart, the video neatly demonstrated the answer to a question I had. This is something I can easily practice indoors over the winter without hitting balls - which is great in this weather!

Genius mate! I particularly liked the part where you talk about opposition to swinging the club, I have always felt like I move my force with the swinging of the club instead of in opposition to it and therefore have always felt a lack of power or swing speed. And now I get why!!! Thank you so much for this video. Phil

Stewart, Thanks so much for the sensible content. With all the instruction on KZbin it can be quite confusing. If I understand this video, my pelvis should be moving in the opposite direction of the mass (club head). If that is correct it makes more sense than any of the other instruction I've seen on KZbin. I will continue to watch all the videos on your site and look for to more content. Thanks again

Steve, it’s my pleasure Sir. You are absolutely on point with your interpretation, the harder you pull the more the feet must appose and speed will become yours! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and incredibly kind words. Best wishes Stu

@@GoodGolfCoaching Stewart, Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my question I do appreciate it. I'm not sure where the time went. I will be 65 in July. Damn did I just say that out loud. I've had some back surgery approx 20 yrs ago. 60% of the L5 S1 was removed. I probably don't rotate as well as or as much as I should. I go to the gym 3 days a week ,and try to stay away from all the foods you mentioned we shouldn't eat or drink in one of your videos. If you can find some time to drop some content for those of us who are older that dirt. Doesn't have to be anytime soon. I would appreciate it. I know your a busy guy so there no need to respond to this post. Thanks again and take care.

Thanks Stuart. Smallest swing is the putt. I'm a reasonably good putter averaging 31 putts a round. I feel this sensation of loading my left foot on the takeaway and stay on it through the strike. It helps me with a crisp true roll and good speed control. I will follow what you said and try the same with the bigger swing. Hopefully it will all synch up for the better.

Hi Stuart. This is certainly a different way to what I’ve been told. I’ve been told to load up on the right leg allowing the left foot to come off the ground for a better turn. Your method makes a lot of sense. Thanks

For me, these lessons would be more impactful if they were less about dispelling myths and more about how to perfect your techniques. I'm a believer in your methods and approach to the swing and don't need to be "convinced" in every video.

Hi Stephen - this is an old video and my content has evolved a little over that time. Dispelling myths and preconceived ideas, I believe, is important and it’s part of what I do and who I am. Hope you can stay the course and keep enjoying my content. Best wishes Stu.

Very interesting insightful video, thank you. Similar philosophy and movement to Dr Kwon using the feet and body as a education pattern for our bodies to learn the ‘correct’ golf swing patterns. I like the right foot move to get the body into left sided balance ready for the trigger to start the downswing.

Too many details to cover, but you are incorrectly describing what Bryson and other long drivers do, and say they do. For example, in the down swing they DO NOT speak of pushing off with the back foot, but stomping down with the heal of the lead foot to initiate the down swing.

Daniel Berger has that trigger where he puts pressure on his lead foot before starting the backswing. This explanation is great for understanding why he does that. It's a trigger ot get that weight shift and hip depth in the backswing; its a dynamic trigger.
