@@MeesterJ WTF? Are your legs as big as this guys? I doubt it. So you advise it utter bullshit.
@housinauthority52586 жыл бұрын
@@bbrockRailFan Wesley's legs are seriously lacking, they are nowhere near the level of Breon or Cbum. He needs to add a lot of size to his hamstrings; the RDL can really add some serious mass because you can go really heavy. The reason Wes's legs are bigger is because he is a serious BB that takes a huge amount of gear and is genetically a big guy. It doesn't mean his knowledge is greater. He is young and will learn more. I am 40 and have trained since I was 16, you tend to pick up a fair amount of knowledge when you are interested in something for 24 years.

I’ve found that 5x5 with heavy, heavy high-bar ATG back squats is all I need for my quads. I’ve noticed far better growth with that low volume, high intensity work than with higher volume leg days.
@zoranallen52056 жыл бұрын
Saipal singh because it’s a strength-based program, I keep it the same between sets, but rest about 5-7 minutes so each set is practically all-out. For example I’ll do, in kilos, 100x5, 100x5, 100x5, 100x5, 100x5. Then the next week I’ll try a set with 105 kilos, and if I can do it I try to finish the 5x5 with 105. But usually I can only do 1 or 2 sets with the new weight, so I’ll drop back down to the previous weight for the remaining sets.

I have been allowing my feet to go slighlty below neutral position when doing unilateral seated calves and feel the stretch even more. What do you think about that? Risk of injurily vs benefit without going excessively heavy. You truly are an inspiration. I have watched almost every video especially before workouts for the extra motivation. seated calf machine only works the soleus, gaetrocnemius (the big muscle that pops out in the middle of the calf) only gets activated when the knee is extended slightly flexed.....therefore seated calf raises are literally the worst exercise to make the calves "pop".....just put a couple of plates under the smith machine and do calf raises standing up i grantee you will achieve a superior pump

Those sexy cams on the equipment. The leg curl machine in that gym is the best because you have to be undertension the entire time to where most leg curl machines hit the end of their range not allowing you to get your full range of motion. Doing warm up sets up to a moderate to heavy set is actually putting you at risk of injury. You are fatiguing your fibers when you lift period so climbing up in weight is counterproductive your muscles just need blood in them to be (warmed up) quick jog, jump rope and light dynamic stretching is all that is needed to get blood flowing around this minimizes fatigue/damage to your fibers so that you can handle more stress/weight without injury to have better intensity in workout. Progression or progressive overload should be workout to workout not pyramiding up in weight every workout.Warm up go medium/heavy and then pyramid down if anything IMO of course. This was Arthur Jones opinion as well. Great video.
