Legacy GT ~ Blouch 20G Turbo Install

Hey man can what’s the part number to that intercooler tube

So i was told by a tuner that if i wanted to run a 20g on my xt that i had to upgrade to a top feed fuel injector kit🤔🤔 is he lying or what because you have side feed injectors

So, to be honest with you, we did do a top feed injector swap on this car. it's running ID1050's and flex fuel. That tuner may be right, I don't know if the side feed injectors would be able to flow enough to support a 20g.

The EJ20X came with a twinscroll turbo, were you able to fit a singlescroll exhaust manifold and up-pipe from another Subaru to make this work?

Yes! The EJ20X has the same exhaust flange as the USDM EJ25 and therefore any header that is meant for an EJ25 should work.

@@nickquatrini great thanks! Did you have to change the sump or any other parts?

@@craigm6047 we swapped over the oil pan to clear the headers but the sump on ours was the same so we left it

@@nickquatrini great, thanks, just getting a list of parts together to do the conversion, dont suppose you know the compressor outlet diameter? The JDM intercooler is a lot different so i will need to make my own connecting pipe

@@craigm6047 unfortunately I don't, we swapped this one back to single scroll using a vf52 originally before installing a blouch 20g.
