When I saw it was an orchestral iteration of this iconic track, I pressed play and closed my eyes. It felt like I was in another world, on a theater, watching a movie of the franchise, and this was the introduction sequence, presenting some actors' names while traversing through the lands of Nosgoth in different timelines. I wish It wasn't just a dream. One can only hope. In any case, you are worthy.

In all honesty I can see this arranged into a battle during the ingame but not as the main theme. Sounds more suited for a certain boss battle.

I remember Square-Enix owned this IP. They never did anything with it. It would have been a very good anime, at least. They sold it some time ago. We have never seen anything. It's rather sad and unfortunate.

deberiam hacer un remake o soul reaver regresa...para nuevas generaciones seria bestial en graficas y jugabilidad. yo lo compraria inmediatamente. la banda sonora esta brutal. es excelente. recuerdos de un juego de aquella epoca de terror puzzles, aventura, rol. seria fantastico y perfecto una pelicula o series. hace falta conceder los derechos antes de que el que hizo esta joya de juego se muera y no se puedan remasterizar. alguien escucheme para que hagan este hermoso juego. millones de personas queremos de regreso esta leyenda de juego uno nuevo o remake. antes de que me haga viejito y me muera sin poder jugarlo en graficas modernas.

Word on the street is.... Kain is deified. Very nice composition, however this track would definitely be better accompanied by some vocal work, like classic latin, even adding g some of the scream like sounds the orginal had. Other than that I dont really have any idea how to add the otherworldly vibe without resorting so synths and maybe a lit more percussion to really make it feel intense.

Some of the instruments are too loud throwing off the overall balance of the score. The bass for example is drowning out the rest of the string section. Adjust the mix levels and subdue the background music to allow the focal instruments to come through more, and then you will have nailed this track. It is enjoyable nonetheless, it's just off putting due to hearing it so many times over the years played by the original orchestra. Great effort so far. I look forward to hearing more 😊
