Welcome back, Dave. I may have an unpopular opinion about OG DOOM. I kinda never really "liked" it. It was fun, but I'd rapidly lose interest and fire up Tetris (or UT99 when that existed), mostly because I never understood aiming, which probably sounds insane. 2016 I thoroughly love as a reimagined DOOM, though I 100% agree with the criticisms of the shotgun being terrible (which also bummed me out), and glory kills are only fun for so long, and it's very telling that there's an upgrade to make them go by faster.
