holyshit I own that transformer. Lost EVERYTHING except the main robot. he was the only childhood transformer toy that survived the purge and I still have him, with all the accessories gone.

there was a "gorilla alt mode" I always play with this guy, since I never like his robot form, the gorilla alt mode is where you imagine the decal sticker plastered on the snake head as the head of the gorilla, and position the claw arms and legs as its 4 walking legs, flip up the purple back pack as its cannons. Theres also a "bulldozer Tank alt mode" where you lay him on its back, and treat the purple back as its "tank treads" Twist the body around so the crab claws go either up or down and it be like a bulldozer with claw arms The best mode is where I always split the purple back arms and fold it to the side of the body, so it looks like its sitting on a floating chair/side burners/jetpack enhancement They are all mainly "imaginative alt modes" for this guy when I play as a kid. I also prefer the robot mode without turning his body around, so that "V" on its crotch is seen like a robot's visor/head unit. and also since I lost the head master unit back then, thats how I see him transformed in robot mode...

My favorite part about the little Browning is they gave him a tiny safety orange barrel cap. It's one of those perfect little details that elicit a sensible chuckle, or at least a slight grin and amused puff of exhalation through one's nose.

Squeezeplay is one that looks dangerously derpy and he's perfect for it. Gotta love how the legs janking off the robot shoulders is so iconically dumb that the Legacy version includes panels for almost no reason than to homage it. Browning being a weapon for Squeezeplay makes sense, as in the anime Cancer was the one that formed a close bond with him.

It actually does make sense for Browning to come with Squeezeplay due to how in in Master Force he and Squeezeplay's counterpart Cancer were buddies.

Yeah, my mom got me the Japanese Transformers DVD collection after she saw me attempt to draw some Japanese Transformers designs, hence my knowledge of Japanese G1 Transformers.

I was drawn to Lokos for some reason and was intrigued by his name. What is a Lokos? A little digging revealed that "lokos" is the plural of Latvian word "loks" (meaning to bend or fold). Good to know.

I got him a week ago or so and he is lovely! In addition to hunching his crab head down, I've found that the little fake legs on the back come around just far enough to the front that you can flare them out to fill out his upper body and shoulder area

The more I see of this figure the more I want this multipack for more than Cliffjumper. I feel moving forward with 86 Megatron on the horizon we're also see his gun mode reduced to nothing more than an accessory. That bit with the questionable ratchet was great. Felt very AVGN inspired, and if not I'm an idiot for seeing it.

I always took Squeezeplay's alt mode as a crab/cobra monster. Especially since his buddies also seemed to be hybrid creatures too: Horri-Bull (bull/dog) and Fangry (winged werewolf). But I can also see the sci-fi horror elements in all three as well.

I got G1 Squeezeplay at a garage sale as a kid, along with Fangry on clearance and I loved them. Some of my favorite G1 transformers, especially with how Fangry was portrayed in the G1 Marvel comics. Pretty sure Squeezeplay and Fangry were supposed to be chimeric monsters, rather then one specific animal.

Ah Squeezeplay...one of my all-time top five favourite transformers. Love those vibrant purples and blues and that monster mode...fantastic! They really did him dirty with that new monster mode. He went from cool dayglo xenomorph to a Jim Henson puppet from 'Labyrinth'. And poor ol Lokos STILL gets jammed into an uncomfortable chest compartment like Anne Frank being jammed into an undersized loft! Tragic!
