Love the videos and your enthusiasm for the lore. These really help my players get a better handle on the setting. One thing though. In several parts of the series of videos, your sound track gets so loud it drowns you out. Looking forward to the next one, and super excited for if/when you take on the clan war

Thank you for these lore videos. These have been great to listen to. I have been aware of the setting since the 90's but only initially collected the Wargame. When I branched out to start playing the ccg (during Ivory edition) it was sold off to Fantasy flight soon after. Now that the lcg has been cancelled I have been trying to collect up what is still available and not too expensive. In my opinion the Wargame was clunky, but I loved the background so I collected the books regardless. If you are familiar with the Total War series, then I think you would agree that L5R would make an amazing total war game. Someone is making a Medieval 2 mod, but as far as I can tell it is only one person so progress is slow.

Medieval 2? Why not mod Shogun or Shodun 2?

I would love to see a story based on the Monkey Clan and it's champion Toku. As this is one of my favorite characters I wouls use for my Toturi's army back during the Clan Wars.

I stipulated in part 1 that I would only cover minor clans founded before the Clan Wars was I'm building up to that eventually. The founding of the Spider and their elevation to Great Clan Status comes much later.
