MHFU's monsters were op. Kirin jumps over his head, barely hitting him and half his health is gone.

There is no severity within the damage come up with the level of touch. As soon as it touches, it does register the same damage. However, hitboxes does not match with animations on the classics. If it was close enough, it may still register even if there was no touch at all.

simple. he's using a King Attilart Sword which has -15 affinity. and wears the art of unsheathing. king attilart swords unleashes the negative critical and the unsheathe attack has the postiive critical

actually judging kirin's speed and ability, the more smaller it is, the more harder the attack will succeed. the small kirin has a even lesser area to strike an att while the bigger kirin in this vid has even bigger area which that skill LEGEND has made can be easy to strike on that kirin.

not really the bigger kirin is harder due to its height that deprives one of hitting the horn of kirin when his head is at its highest point. Due to that, the only time where one can strike its horn is when it is resting with its head down or when he moves forward

Kind of? But not really? Because his attack pattern isn't the same anymore, you could triple charge as soon as Kirin looks at you but what about the true charge, that will take time and the duration between you charging and Kirin's animation when it attacks is short. The triple charge in mhfu is like the true charge in mhw, so you still have to do the true charge.
