The tank build is viable against everything except the purple doggo's. . .they SHRED the shield! If you know that going in, you can adjust to compensate.

Build is good but it still can be improved : 1. Using perfect focus instead of sombra chest. Because 10% total weapon damage is stronger than any brand bonus. 2. Scorpio is better in legendary content because of insane dps at max stacks (it should the main weapon most of the time)

This build can absolutely be improved! When I put this build together, I only had the Groupo Chest so that's what I ran with. A Fenris chest piece with focus will outperform the Groupo and the Pristine Example will outperform the Fenris. As to the Scorpio, It would require a different chest piece and a much different playstyle. When I play with my clan in a purpose built group, I play at the back of the room using the right shield peek strategy. When I matchmake, I use a completely different build that uses the Scorpio as the primary.

The hardest I could get striker to hit with the carbine 7 was 1.4 mil in the head(solo). The build was Carbine7(flatline) fenris chest(obliterate) and ceska mask then obviously your 4 striker pieces.

Was that per bullet or DPS? Mine is at Expertise 19 so your numbers may be different. I can’t log in at the moment (server maintenance) but I’ll post back with the per bullet Crit and non-crit per bullet damage numbers.

So, slightly different builds with different weapon and chest talents. My Carbine 7 has Strained and my chest has Focus. Perhaps a better way to judge damage between builds and weapons is the average per magazine damage. In this case, I’m showing the average damage numbers(the number I see the most often), not the maximum. In the range with the world set to Heroic and the invulnerable target, I’m getting the following average per bullet numbers: Headshots Non-Crit - 948,973 Crit - 1,697,505 Body shots Non-crit: 642,914 Crit: 1,257,737 With 53.5% crit chance and a 50 round magazine, on average I should get 26.75 crits and 23.75 non-crits per magazine. Total magazine damage should be as follows: Headshots - 67,471,882 Bodyshots - 48,592,215 Its another (arbitrary) but repeatable way to determine damage output you could use to compare different gear pieces and weapons.

@@AgentMeat it’s just over 1.4mil a bullet. Only expertise 16 on the gun. I tried out focus but constantly having to be zoomed in stressed me out and changed the recoil control for me, I just stick with the 4x usually. I actually wasn’t even paying attention so well to your damage numbers, I was just putting in the comments what worked nice for me lol

What makes this Buid Legendary? It´s a normal Striker DPS Set, right? Maybe i don´t get it. For a 6 red core DPS Build use the Cyote´s Mask, allow one more damage mod and therefore more output. OK, if u don´t want it to play but i think it is not recommendable. The chameleon woud be a better 1st weapon. Suggest for the 2nd: Vector or Dark Winter. Lokk at th RPM ;)

What make this a build suitable for me and my playstyle in Legendary content, is its reliable DPS output. At full Striker stacks, it's hitting north of 16 million DPS. Are there other ways to build to that? Yes, absolutely. I was approaching this build from the mindset of not relying on situational buffs; range from target or whether or not they were in or out of cover to proc the buff. As to the Chameleon and/or Vector, they don't fit with the Chest Talent chosen for this build but you have sent me down the mental rabbit hole of considering other chest pieces to compliment the Chameleon. I am intrigued.

I just threw together a quick build with the same pieces except for the chest; I swapped to a Fenris chest with Obliterate. I had to Recalibrate the gloves and holster to Crit Damage from Crit Chance. Without any buffs active, I'm sitting at 55.5% Chance, 148.3% Damage and 70% headshot. When all situational buffs are active; Strikers, Obliterate, 75 body shots and 30 headshots, it registers at just over 19 million DPS in the shooting range. So yes it hits harder. But I'm now reliant on managing Strikers and Obliterate stacks and where I hit targets. I also loose the ability to employ the right shield peek strategy as I cannot use a higher zoom scope. I'm going to do a Legendary DUA mission with it but I'm skeptical as to whether this will be a good fit for me.

So I can definitively say, switching to the Chameleon does not work for me in a mission situation. The changes make the build too reliant on situational damage and forced me to close in rather than sit back and shoot from a position which allows for time and space to reposition if required. It also obviates the ability to shield peek. The Chameleon nullifies the medium to long range benefits of an AR in favor of a weapon closer to an SMG than an AR. In my (limited) experience it works less well for Legendary missions than the Carbine 7, Police M4 or FAL.

Legendary Build, but plays heroic lol

There is a little bit of Legendary play at the end of the video. I recorded the entire run but screwed up my capture settings and all of the audio including Discord was on one track. There was waaaaay to much swearing in Discord for the KZbin police. We are doing a Livestream tonight for DUA on Legendary. I’ll be using this and a couple of other builds in that run through.
