One of the local go kart tracks near my house when I was growing up had some sort of museum or something and they used to have a Senna McLaren and they used to have the door open so me and a school bud could see it when we went karting, I don't if it was a model or a real thing but it was a great thing to see, this was at filching manor.

Some absolute awesome cars. Loved the colours of the Eddie Irvine & Gerhard Berger cars but the standout one for me was the 1992 McLaren Honda driven by the great Ayrton Senna which brought back memories of his battles with Nigel Mansell. The sound of those cars is epic, pity the modern ones don't sound like that. Another great video Jodie, thank you.

Tyrell stopped racing at the end of the 1998 season, drivers were Ricardo Rosset and Toranosuke Takagi

Tyrell -> BAR -> Honda -> Brawn -> Mercedes

Tyrrell ran til 1998. I believe Riccardo Rosset and Tora Takagi were the drivers that final season. Tyrrell became BAR which became BAR Honda which became Honda which became Brawn GP which became AMG Mercedes today.

The F1 Cars of the late 80s and early 90s were the best looking of the modern F1 Cars.They were also simpler compared to today's. Nice to see and hear them on the track. Thanks Jodie 😎👍🇨🇦

The most beautiful F1Car is the Black&Gold Lotus. Driven by Ayrton Senna. And the best F1 Car was the MC Laren Honda MP 4/4 also driven by Ayrton Senna.😎

The Autotoplis livery on the Benetton reminds me when that track was built (I believe it’s Suzuki’s private test track now) but they had Roman Slobininski design a open wheel formula car just as a house car for the circuit and that turned out to be the precursor of the Indy Lights cars later in that era. I had the chance to work for his company doing the final assembly work on the 45 cars that were specifically built and shipped from California while I was between jobs as a race car Fabby!

That was awesome. I remember being at the qualifying for the European Grand Prix at Paddock Hill bend & Theo Fabi coming off right in front of us but I was only a little nipper & the place would get so packed the old man didn’t take me to the race but I always loved the sound of the Ligier it’s a shame they don’t bring it back to Brands 👍

Yep, F1, now that is a gilt-edged auto-sport one that demands true verve. And that banshee wail races up my spine like those tachometers race to 17K rpm. That MP4/7 hasn't run since 1992 I believe! I have never seen Honda or Mclaren run it at any event. The 4/6 gets run alot but I think this is the first time I've seen the 4/7 run. Amazing! The last V12 Mclaren. There should be an episode on just that MP4/7!
