For me, Boudica is still top priority. That 35% skill damage increase debuff is strong af. When you're running with a 45% defense reduction from Nev and 30% health reduction from Scipio, you melt your target. It's just too good.

Chisgule you should update your tier list by adding a new category between high priority and low priority making it mid priority. Then do as follow: Top priority-top 3/5 commanders that should be in any 5 marches lineup Mid priority-commanders that are filling spots on the top 5 to 7 lineups Low priority- commanders that still make the cut for top 5 to 7 lineups but are soon to be replaced

Sargon is so underrated,i use 2 marches (Sargon Scippy and Guan Alex) only and he is still rocking everything, even Guan Alex performs pretty OK

if you are new in the game: expert Nev and Joan. You can use even as single march. Thank me later. After that, you can still in cavs and do Huo William(i recommend not going for them tho, as new cavs should replace William) or go for Zhuge or Scipio. Trust me, even if you like more one unit than another is better go for the meta commanders in the open field. In end, what matters is the kills and hospital and not if you like or not the commander.

I know it’s adding another level, but maybe sorting into High, medium and low priority could help those of us in the middle somewhere of the high being Zhuge, Nevsky and Scipi, with mid being the best pair with the top/high priority and the low priority is for multiple marches of the same troop type. Idk, that seems like it could help me to better determine who to focus my heads on currently

I'm infa main (free-low spender) and currently investing in scipi prime he is 5411 my question is is it better if i do Charles martel 5211 with scipi prime secondary or Guan yu 1111 with scipi prime 5411 secondary. Chisgule i need help, advice anyone too pls

Skippy is just too good not to max Martel you will get for free. Guan 5155 if your lucky I have him 5535 and just left him there and not spending anymore on this game for a while the developers suck, so I went totally f2p. I use skippy maxed with a 5531 Mehmed and it does ok. I got maxed nev and 5534 Joan and tbh if I get her last skill she staying there for a while, Zhug 5511 and does great but just chaining with him right now. I still use guan with a 5511 Leo but 🤦🏾‍♂️ but you use what you got right.

I’m in kvk 1 right now, the lvl 7 pass just opened and we went to war. This is my first time in a kvk since I just started. I’ve been playing everyday for the past 115 days, I’m at nearly 11 million power and have around 500,000 t4 units, not including siege. I’m free to play, well not completely but all I’ve bought was minamoto and I’m at city hall 23 right now. I had just recently got YSG however I’m not really good when it comes down to what commanders to pair with who. For infantry I’ve been using Sun Tzu and Richard as secondary, and for Calvary I use minamoto and cao cao, and then I use aethflaed and YSG for a mix of infantry Calvary and archery. I’ve been seeing a lot of people pair YSG with Charles so I plan on doing that however I hardly have my Charles leveled up, I have him at lvl 10. I’m in kingdom 3199 and we are fighting against 3197, 3198, and 3200 *Now this really doesn’t matter but I just wanted to say it.*

Leave charles. Only for whales/high spenders and won't last you long anyway Sun primary and ysg secondary is good enough. Or Bjorn primary and Sun secondary if you can't get ysg to expertise. And looking at what you've said you probably won't max him by his second wheel.

I feel like caesar is the stronger commander of the two, but martel can also be the captain for your city. Kind of depends on who you're going to pair them with.

finish ysg for sure. He is still amazing. Don't invest in sargon. You can use scipio + YSG for now, trades well. Wait for new infantry release while saving gold heads - when he comes out, use scipio + new inf, that's an absolutely meta march. Then save sculptures either for zhuge or wait for next archer (i recommend the latter)

Peace shield, if you're asking this question. You shouldn't invest in garrison commanders. Especially in the early since they only last till kvk3.

Sargon above William is weird when William is a million times better in the open-field than Sargon is. Guan and Artemesia shouldn't even be in low priority, no way anybody should be investing their universals in either of them (which you did say but for some reason left them up there). Especially Guan who is most likely going to be unusable in 2-3 months when an AOE infantry field commander is released. Also unsure why Richard, Alex, and Constantine are in "Niche" and not "just no". Sunset isn't a good reason to use gold heads and all three are not usable in the open field in any reasonably good march.

Guan will continue to be low priority. Do you really think Lilith will make a stronger guan? I don’t. We will get stronger aoe inf comm, but he won’t have a 3 sec silence. If you spend on the game then guan is pretty easily gotten from kvk3 since he’s in the daily’s. I do agree with William being before Sargon. William has too much utility (also can be bought from daily’s in kvk3). William is probably the 2nd or 3rd best cav comm in game-can make a case for either 2nd or 3rd. Boudicca should still be a top priority imo. You won’t run ZL as the main comm, unless your running multiple archer marches.

So i have to prioritize on Archers so i can get at least 1 archer march on field. Just making Boudi and Zhuge to 5511 1st then finishing Nevsky.
