Great choices, Cuban Sandwiches and Dicks, can't go wrong. Two days, that's just amazing!! For meat loving Felix, next time you can try Market House Meats for corned beef and Pastrami and Red Mill for burgers. But you guys hit the highlights and did the Needle too!

I’m in Seattle now for the first time and had Dicks the other night with family. I like the fact we tailgated at the parking lot. The burger was ok but the fries was really good.

Great choice going to Paseo's and Dick's. I've been going to Dick's since I was 4 years old. In college there used to be a bar across the street which had last call at 1:30. Dick's closed at 2:00, so we would chug our drinks, pay the bill and run across the street for a Delux, fries and a Coke. Great hangover prevention. You should have had a milkshake with your burger. Next time you're in Seattle you need to visit a bunch of the boba shops. Also you can make the rounds of all the Cambodian owned doughnut shops.

The original Paseo's was auctioned off in 2014. If you ever come back you should visit "Un Bien" in Ballard. It is ran by the original family and has the original recipe of Paseo's Caribbean roast sandwich.

Seattle has a large population of migrated Hawaiians. My town just south of Seattle has two Hawaiian restaurants (L&L being one, Ohana Kitchen the other). Love the look on Amanda's face while munching the soggy fries was pure heaven. Best thing about Dick's is they pay almost $20/hr to start and they provide all sorts of stipends for college education, childcare, and transportation. They are an amazing company.

@@maygoya2204 They have one restaurant in North Seattle and one in Lynnwood. Yuji's wife Angela runs the place since Yuji is often out of town on acting gigs. My friend that lives on the Big Island says their Kailua Pork is better than any that he has eaten in Hawaii. I laughed since it's oven baked, not in an Imu, but it is good.

Love your folks channel! Next time you folk come up gotta go to the famous Bruce Lee best and oldest chinese food restaurant in Chinatowm called Tai Tung and sit in the back table where Bruce Lee sat. Got all kinds of Bruce Lee memorabilia's. The food is so ono too. Looking forward to your Vancouver experiences! Go Chinatown too! Enjoy!

We (my wife and i) just found your channel today - I gotta say - you came at the right time - Seattle cleaned up these areas. The Ohana's you were taking about is a popular bar with live DJ (a lot of times) in an area called Belltown, right by DT Seattle. They have 2 locations, there and Issaquah. Never went to the Issaquah one, but Belltown is good fun 😀 We're going grind the Pho Bac Súp Soup tonight, so mahaloz for that recommendation (I haven't been there in over 20 years - last time was a different pho joint - NASTY - COCKROACHES! But looks so much better now, inside and out!) Looking forward to your other videos. Oh yah, going grind some Bahn mi soon as well!

Great places for awesome food. Been to Seattle but never explored it for food. Going to be adding several of the places you went to my list next time I make it there. Can't wait for Vancouver. Had high tea at the Fairmont Hotel(?) in the main part of the city a long time ago on a city tour we took when we got back from our Alaska cruise. It was a highlight of ours.

One of Seattle's pluses is the comprehensive public transportation... I bet you could have gotten to Paseos in same amount of time that it took you in your Uber. Also you should know the guy that started Dick's was from Belgium which is why the fries are so good.

If Ivar's salmon restaurant is a little pricey, then there are several Ivar's Seafood Bars in the Seattle area. Same grilled salmon. But, the restaurant is a unique experience on Lake Union. You probably need a car or Uber to get there.

So glad you guys made it to Dick's! But ... no milkshake? They're known for their milkshakes too. Definitely next trip pick one up. :-) And bummer about Molly's. That place is awesome. You guys spent a lot of time up on Capitol Hill! There are some classic places up there so it's a great place to walk up and down Broadway and grab some grub. The molten cake place is newer so I've never been there, but it looked amazing. I'm going to add it to my list of places to try next time I'm back. Mahaloz!

Great choices for this one--that Paseo sandwich is NOT overrated and Dick's is def. iconic. Hotcakes was a great sub for Molly's--since you already visited Salt & Straw, I wouldn't feel too badly about missing it. Looking forward to the Vancouver portion!

Good show. Next time, check out some of the upscale markets could be a pleasant surprise. They all have a deli section - Metropolitan Market (Queen Anne) , Whole Food & PCC Mkt (Downtown). This year, Seattle has the biggest Dungeness crab harvest. Safeway sells it for $5.99/lb and Costco $4.99/lb. It would have been good, since its already cooked, u can eat it in your hotel room. Maybe u can do that in Vancouver. Richmond is the place to go for great Chinese food.
