As a massive die hard Soulcalibur fan, I'm pleasantly surprised to see a video ranking the weapons. This series really feels pretty dead and abandoned, so to see it getting some form of content from fans is very nice. Especially SC3, which is arguably the most divisive game of the series. Great video and great ranking

I think it's worth mentioning that Raphael's Queen's Guard is either a replica weapon modeled after Soul Calibur in disguise or just Soul Calibur itself in disguise (it's really hard to see, but when zooming in you can see the symbols carved into Soul Calibur's blade are on the handle).

Him still included in the SC V roster was one of the few good things about that game. He also got a pretty cool description in New Legends of Project Soul. And I think he was planned for SC VI at one point too, no reason to show a single lizard among Nightmare's OG crew otherwise. Maybe he'll be in SC VII, if there is an SC VII.

A fun series would be to revisit Soul Blade and it's ultimate weapons

Rock's Great Ax, Cervantes' Serpent's Tongue or Li Long's Twin Thunder would have to be up there. Siegfried's Soul Edge too considering it has one of the highest Attack powers in the game (second only to Rock's War Hammer) and fast movement and strong stats all round.

Taki's Spirit Blade is also great. High stats with low weight so it has fast attack speed and is longer than her normal weapon. The downside is unlocking them. THAT was torture.

@@uraninezak Honestly all the legendary weapons in Soul Blade were quite good. No real duds except maybe Mitsurugi's Murasame or Hwang's Phantom being a bit poor defensively (you take a lot of chip damage guarding with them and it sucks more for the Murasame because it's supposed to have a high Defense stat) though they brought something to the table at least with the Murasame doing massive chip damage and Phantom's godly reach attached to Hwang's fighting style. Taki probably had it the worst in Edge Master Mode and either Tanto or Gaea Sword being the best options for Cervantes and SoulEdge hurts.

On the one hand, my girl Taki has a shit legendary but on the other hand, Cassandra, Sophitia, Kililk and Xanghua all have very good legendary weapons so the pros of my mains out weight the one con, though I do use Cassie more then Sophitia. Plus, the fact that 3 SHOWED you what the weapons do is a god send so another great weapon tier and it is heartwarming to see that another person likes SC3 which makes me wonder why. Still soild and fun list!

The custom classes are absolutely busted, mainly: - Quarterstaff: stupid long range unblockable, but easily blocked by ducking Katana and shuruken: teleports into the air to perform an easy unblockable Sword and shield: Sling lightning from across the arena. Makes fighting the colossus free on any difficulty.

They really need to bring back the rpg elements i remember when I fought a soul calibur or a soul edge users I was going to face hell but damn it felt good weilding said power

cool video but could you explain or show detail stuff for noobs like me who haven't gotten everything in the game, i don't really notice when you move on to the next weapon
