Damn when you talked about your high school stuff i could relate to much of it, same with the whole thing about being too nice and therefore often being taken advantage of. Still working on being able to say no and having the balls to call people out on their bs. Also while i understood why Twitch banned you. The punishment didn't fit the "crime" (for a lack of better words). 30 days is so insane. If Twitch doesn't respond to you or remove the ban, i think you would be correct in switching to KZbin. Sure Twitch has the bigger gaming audience, but at KZbin you have a lot more of your viewers to pull from. Hopefully you can work through your mental health and get better.

I've been following your SYDC for months now and honestly this video made me pull the trigger and subscribe. Another Catholic school kid with a similar story. Mine differs when I was convinced to question aged 9, refused confirmation aged 13 so the priest tried to have me expelled but when he found out that would be illegal he instead terrified my younger brother and made all the 'good' Catholic kids in his parish, where I lived, ostracise me. And because the 'good' ones never use condoms even the other kids dropped me - hang out with one kid when those 10 won't = no contest. Difference too is every year, once per year between 11 and 17, someone very close to me died so I got shy instead of learning to speak out. I had two real relationships and cuz girls never stick with the nice guy they cheated on me and left. Third one lasted 19 years til the wife had a mid life crisis and left me for a guy 18 years younger than me. She's made my life hell for last 5 years, to appease her strict and religious parents who would have disinherited her to the tune of at least several 100K if she admitted adultery. If I ever win the lottery, which would involve being able to afford a ticket heh, first thing I'd do is move to Australia, last vestige of normal humanity left, though you're getting your share of social [in]justice propaganda too. Next thing I'd do is buy CA and put you in charge but only if you took a pic to show me the look on their faces :P Two types of people in this world, self-centred idiots and the rest of us and we're well outnumbered. I keep living because of my kids but the rare and random kindness of strangers restores my faith in humanity enough to make the rest of life bearable, just. Sometimes. No one needs a religion, just the golden rule some religions falsely claim is theirs - do unto others as you expect others to do unto you (...no matter how much shit they pile on your head).

You are by far my favourite Total War KZbinr, not least because of your abilities, but because of how you interact with your fans. From the others, and I have no distaste for them as they do what they do well, I always get the sense that I'm watching a persona, a play of who they really are. I don't get that from you. When I watch your videos, whether you're talking about the game or giving some introspection (both things I enjoy), I always have the feeling that it's the real you talking. When you swear or just react normally to events rather than with some kind of posturing, it makes me think I'm watching an actual person. For those of us who “live in our heads” mood is everything. Book readers, gamer players, writers, artists, scientists, etc. are typically more loner than not, no matter what we tell ourselves. When you live in your head you got to get your head right before anything else works. After 50+ years of the bi-polar life I divide shit into three piles: shit that has to be dealt with, shit I can deal with in my present mood, shit I can’t deal with right now to save my life. Legend, I listened to your video and gave it some thought. I've been a relatively new fan for a few months, and continue to be one. I love your content, gameplay, and hope to see more good stuff. This is of course in hopes that you are mentally ok, have your head on straight, and feel GOOD about making videos and content. Family comes first, your mental health comes first, and your fans will be here once you're ready to come back. That said...I am also a practical man. If you are partnering with various businesses, like KZbin/Twitch/Creative Assembly, then you are beholden to have mutual respect in the business world on their terms since it is their platforms you are uploading to and sharing content. If one of those companies say that some of your jokes, behavior, language, etc. is too much for them, then you may consider toning it down a bit. Your high school story resonated with my own experiences, however if your livelihood and family's livelihood is at stake, gotta change your ways man. At a certain point it's not everyone else's fault, it's your own. You can only control your own behavior, honor, and respectability, and move forward from there. Perhaps the solution is not to become a "complete boring pussy," but at least continue being "Legend" in every sense of the word with some realistic restrictions on what you say. I want to see you happy, your family life flourish, and for more people to subscribe and enjoy your content. I do honestly get bored with some of the other 100% wholesome channels, it gets stale. But I think you can do a great job balancing your "Legend" personality and your business-face that you show to companies, if you give it a legitimate try. Wish you, your wife, and future family all the best man.

Giving offence is bad, mkay. If just one person takes offence that's bad, mkay. Not changing yourself in order to respect the delicate feelings of people who have the choice not to watch you is also bad, mkay. Sorry dude, I see what you're trying to say and you don't deserve to be trolled, truly, but you're a few mkays short of convincing. There are thousands of channels out there that people could, you know, watch instead. One of the arguments against what you say is why I usually don't watch the several hundred channels of TV any more, because if I see one more cheaply made pile of trash reality TV clone my neighbours would not thank me for screaming. Since when did variety become a bad thing? Since when did complaining you were offended by words become a good thing? Sticks and stones will break my bones but words... OMG man, they're the worst and I will just die if I have to live, just knowing there is someone out there I can be outraged at for saying something that offends me! First. World. Problems. Are. A. Bitch. How will those people who suffer them ever cope? Oh yeah, like people have coped for millennia, by moving on. Could Legend tone it down? Sure but why should he if we support him however we can? Change only happens if people make it happen and trust me, the backlash from people trying to make words illegal will happen. If it doesn't happen soon though, we will one day look back on these times like we look back on the Inquisition or the McCarthy witch hunts. I listened to the news for the first time in for ever the other day. Know what the main story was? Some woman complaining the UK police are refusing to act on third party reports about hate crimes. Why? Because the couple hundred such reports they had last year turned out to be people just arguing in public. Apparently, by managing their limited time and not giving the vast majority of the British public what they have never asked for, the police are allowing hate to spread. Yeah, right. I was really looking forward to the new female Dr Who as well but despite the actors doing fine, it's been a series of propaganda against white, male heterosexuals. At it's heart this is a kids show FFS. I'm all for representation, the UK is founded on it even though we get hiccups now and then, but the only white guys in it that aren't villains have been castrated to make them unthreatening to modern feminist dogma. Grandad, helpful male nurse (who still wouldn't listen to a woman btw so died), emotionless android slaved to a black woman and of course that old classic, the pregnant man. Whatever happened to Daleks and Cybermen etc, you know, cheaply costumed villains that as a kid you'd shit your pants watching. No female villains yet either but we have had young white violent male type, the selfish loner white male type and the unforgettable businessman politician who was so clearly supposed to remind us of Donald Trump. Yesterday's episode set in Asia so no white villains but hindu men filled in to kill the hindu love of a muslim woman. Will they take that show down or fire the writer if I complain? Gonna go out on a limb here and guess no cuz apparently my race, gender and sexual orientation renders me immune to taking offence. But you know what, I wouldn't bother complaining anyway but only because someone seems to have forgotten to assign me a guy with the gun to my head who orders me to watch it. Phew!

@@purpuradraco3747 You lost me after a few sentences since you went on far-off tangents. Let's stick to the point. Is it unfair that Legend is being treated this way? Yes. Should he be free to present whatever content he chooses? Yes. HOWEVER...we live in the real world with consequences. The reality of the situation is that Legend is uploading to large and powerful sites, such as KZbin and Twitch. Legend will not win a war against the corporate giants. Especially when considering his wishes to provide for his family, I do not want to see him as some kind of "martyr" for free speech. The man needs money, a stable income/job, and be happy uploading videos. There is a middle ground that can be reached.

Legend, I'm following your content for a while now, I think from 2010? I've seen you rise and fall a couple of times and I'm sure you'll get back stronger! You have done so all the previous times when you had a setback! You've had a rough life and things will always be somewhat rough. It is hard to find that balance between too nice and too harsh. I've experienced this as well a dozen of times. I'll be waiting for your further content! Keep going to be the honest guy you are. Your content benefits from it! With the strikes aimed at you, please think twice (or think at all :D ) but don't let it change you too much! You are awesome!

Hey, just want to say that it's a really good thing to be able to hear your story through this. Your story is very relatable and a fantastic insight, and even though I don't agree with you on everything, and sure as shit does that go triple for a lot of this channel's fanbase, I have huge respect for you and your situation having listened to it develop through the past few months. (Not trying to incite problems, I promise. I'm just a bit of a rabbit among wolves in this comments section :P ) I only came across your channel with the SYDC videos, and I've enjoyed the content I've watched thus far. You are certainly a respectable youtuber, and I look forward to seeing more of your content. Sure, you've made mistakes regarding some sensitive stuff, and those have been overblown and taken far out of context. That doesn't warrant your villification and the damage to your reputation and channel that has been spawned as a result. Your frustration with what's happened is palpable, and it's a really crappy thing to happen to anyone. At the end of the day, you're a good entertainer, a damn good TW content creator, and you deserve to be given value by those whose games you're essentially promoting years after their creation. I wish you the best of luck with developing things from here, with content creation, livestreaming, and your family situation.

I empethise with you Legend. I empathise because i reconize. Something that helped me a fair bit is a book/audiobook called "The subtle art of not giving a F#ck" by Mark Manson. Its a "selfhelp" book for people who hate "selfhelp" books. entertaining and relateable story's, profane ruthless humor (right up your alley), real talk and enough grab-you-by-the-shoulder-and-look-you-in-the-eyes moments for all the times you feel like you have no one to go to.

Mate, so much of the shite you've been through I can relate on so many levels. Having a crap time at high school or just school in general really can stay with you in the form of trust issues and making you look out only for number one, (plus your other one). That and the drifting through work because it isn't what you want to do, and what you want to do seems so far off it might as well just be a dream. And on a side note, I also have that problem where my mouth will sometimes talk ahead of my brain, I get misinterpreted and get into trouble You stay well Legend, and you get better.
