'Legends Masterclass' Tony St. Clair Interview (Part 1)

In the latest 'Legends Masterclass' Episode 2, I sit down with another true legend of the Golden Era of pro-wrestling, Tony St. Clair.
In part 1 of this two part interview, we discuss Tony's love for attending wrestling reunions and getting to catch up with many of his wrestling colleagues from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
Tony discusses growing up in a wrestling family, with his father and brother taking him under their wing from a very early age.
We take a look at the pro-wrestling landscape from the 1960's onwards, teaming with his brother and working the various wrestling groups in the 1970's and 80's and the rivalries that existed between during that era.
Tony tells us about becoming World Heavyweight champion and a 4 time British Heavyweight Champion, including a reign that lasted for nearly 9 years.
We talk about Tony's legendary career in Germany and how he went on to become one of the most beloved pro-wrestlers in the country, with his legendary feud with Fit Finlay that lasted for two decades.

This was a truly eye opening experience talking with Tony in episode 2 of 'Legend's Masterclass Series' and it was only part one of two.
PART TWO will be dropping on all platforms Friday 2nd September 2022 - Where we will be discussing his time wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling and the many fantastic matches and friendships his had over 30 years in Japan. We look at many of his favourite matches and wrestlers to be in the ring with. Including, Rollerball Rocco, Robbie Brookside, Owen Hart and Fit Finlay. We also discuss his matches inside of a WWF ring in 1991 and his interaction's with Andre the Giant and Vince McMahon.

At long last an interview with British Pro Wrestling legend Tony St. Clair. Tony always gave 110% in his bouts and as a wrestling fan was a boyhood hero of mine.

wow mr st clair-after rubbishing a certain someone on facebook a few yrs ago-u certainly come out into the open now-when before wrestling wasnt fixed and so on-but now u say completly different from those yrs ago-u will make up your mind wether it was fixed or it wasnt

The finishes were fixed. They just went in and worked no planning like the crappy American stuff But today it's more americanised unfortunately
