From Gatherer: If a spell or ability requires multiple players to face a villainous choice, the result is a little different from other effects in Magic. In that case, the first player in turn order makes their choice and the action for that choice is performed before the next player makes their choice. Then each of the remaining players repeat this process in turn order.

Glad Jon played the one bat legend in the set! Kinda annoying that frogs got 4 legends and bats just got one 😒 Hopefully we’ll get more in the future!

Tbh the fact frogs don’t color match gitrog well 1/3 shown could actually play it, and that the bats were so criminally under-represented makes me sad. I’ve got an ‘actually just a cave’ deck with a ton of cave lands, bats, bugs, (mana) rocks, etc. I’d been hoping to swap out a ton of bats in but the fact we got so little sucks. Darkstar augur tho

While misplays can be frustrating from a viewer perspective, at the end of the day SCG are just providing us with the real commander experience where mistakes are made.

I played Jeremy's flubs deck yesterday on TTS before watching this video and won on turn 5 killing everyone with impending flux for 20 and valakut awakening for 10 after getting everyone below 30 with the red background in this deck.... idk if it was just a perfect storm for me but it went crazy

So he wouldn't have been able to Otawara the Shalai because the Frost Jarl gives other creatures Ward 3. Since he only had 5 mana he couldn't channel Otawara for 3 and pay 3 for the targeting cost of ward.

Having enjoyed abusing Intruder Alarm since it came out, that was fun to see! My OG version just used all the various Tim creatures to ping damage everywhere, and then Kiki Jiki came out, making Infinite so easy and fun hehe. Sigil of Sleep and Curiosity worked wonders to bounce problem creatures, draw solutions, counterspells, or get to the Alarm itself whilst minimizing risks. Hehe its sat unused now for years, because of the levels of Salt it brought out hahaha 😂 Also true for most of my classic Infinite decks 🤷‍♂️😂😜 I just keep building more shenanigans, and no one knows what to expect unless they have sleeves/deck boxes memorized from over the years hehe 😜

Bloomburrow has been a muse to my whole playgroup. Collectively, we've built 9 new decks! To be fair, we play pretty casual, but this set has been a home run for casual commander. I hope you guys get to play with some more bloomburrow commanders.

intruder alarm is so silly - one of my favorite memories was someone using that and being able to instant speed kill the table with my elf deck because of their own card :P also yall mixed up the reveal/look at top card with augur of autumn and oracle - augur is a look, oracle is a reveal

The cascade should have resolved after the full resolution of the other spell(after kodama's reach) not in the middle of its resolution so the cascaded spell should have had x=2 +1 for 3 damage

yeah that whole sequence was done a bit incorrectly, but villainous choice with multiple players it a bit weird so I don't really blame them. Each player is supposed to make their choice then resolve that choice before the next player chooses. What should've happened is steven chooses free spell and jeremy casts the kodama's reach, cascade triggers from wild-magic sorcerer (but doesn't resolve until the ensnared by the mara fully finished resolving), then john chooses the top 4 and takes damage, then cory chooses free spell and jeremy casts beza, then once beza and its ability resolves, jeremy finally cascades looking for 2 or less

23:45 i'm pretty sure you cast them in the player turn order, so the cascade should be from kodama's reach

I thought they'd all be cast at the same time, on the stack in the order you choose. All the cast triggers (including cascade) go on top of those spells. I'd love to know if I'm wrong.

So what would’ve happened is Kodama goes on stack, then John mills and damages, then the white creature I can’t remember the name of from Corey goes onto the stack, then the spell finishes resolving and the wild magic triggers causing a cascade off of Kodama.
