I would have thought such a metaphor would have referred to Gungnir, the spear of Odin. The only thing that lives up to its reputation of being able to pierce anything in existence is pretty much an orbital kinetic weapon,I suppose that is why they refer to Kilo-Kilo projectiles as "rods from god".

Well, if you've played Halo, Bungie doesn't really put "too much" of the story into the games. They always leave the heavy details in secondary sources like the grimoires, or have it as some background text for certain items.

There's something that I admired of the Warmind when I first heard of it's history. A machine with a will and a voice that not many can make out, a power with the unbridled and unhesitating precision...of brutality and destruction. Show's no mercy, Acts without hesitation, a power that I have a fascination towards since my first hearing of the great Warmind.
@garrettviewegh90289 ай бұрын
Part of me hopes Rasputin returns as a Guardian. I feel he’d be a Warlock, as his son was before him. Maybe we use the darkness to return his memories to him? Help him rebuild the many assets and rescources he’d lost as the Warmind? His combat frames, Warsats, arsenal, and other artillery and armaments, would be useful in fighting Xivu Arath and taking back Torrobaital.

Rasputin one among the few things in existence that can shit on everybody's day equally. Also, if I'm remembering correctly Rasputin is the one who crippled the Traveler for trying to pull a one night stand, right?
@zxshadowxzАй бұрын
No, he never actually look the shot. Rasputin did have a contingency called LOKI CROWN tho, which was that if the Traveler DID try to abandon Mankind during an extinction level event, he’d unleash his arsenal to prevent its escape, forcing it to protect Earth, or be destroyed with us.

It's b movie narrative. Go and read a proper book. No disrespect to Byf, but he's a content creator, not an author. Read some Pratchett or Tolkien to get an understanding of the difference. And this is not a dig at either you or Byf, but I am a massive fan of literature, and this is not literature.

I appreciate the comparison to Tolkien and Pratchett, but with all due respect, this wasn't intended to have narrative. The whole idea here is scenes, small moments in time that look and sound "good" when put together like this from a small (700 word) document, I'll be honest, if you want full narrative, you're looking in the wrong place.
