They showed pretty clearly that they're morons -- throughout the whole movie. It started out promising but they really fell apart as it went on. It was like watching two 12 year olds (well, just the Tristan dude) not being able to handle adult content for the first time.

I hate kids, But if I were to have a boy i would have named him Tristan as you did after the movie. A girl... Probably Elora from "WIllow" or maybe Leeloo from "The Fifth Element" still can't pick one.

One of the best western/period/dramatic movies ever made and criminally underrated. Props must go to Julia Ormond for an also criminally underrated performance...maybe the director is due some of the credit, but her facial expressions, body language, and scenes without dialogue, are truly some of the finest acting you will see(where she finds out tristan is having a baby for example). Pitch perfect.

Great movie. Too bad you two just wanted to make a mockery of it the whole time. Surprising considering you were literally named after characters in it.

I think Isabel Two was a good spouse for Tristan. Isabel knew how to read people & situations. She knew how to approach people & when to step back. Susanna, unfortunately, seemed more deeply infatuated with Tristan than in love. Susanna was very delusional about her relationship with Tristan. What annoyed me the most with Susanna is that she ignored Tristan's grief. It's one thing to not know how to console a grieving person. It's another thing when you don't acknowledge their pain. Susanna constantly hovered over Tristan rambling about their non-existent future. Not one time did Susanna ever ask Tristan about his feelings regarding Samuel's death. Nor give him encouragement regarding his guilt over Samuel's death.

I, like you, wasn't expecting much from this movie, I rented it from a video store (remember those?) Along with another film, which I really wanted to see, and after watching both Legends of the Fall instantly became one of my favourite films.

1994 was a great year for both Brad Pitt and Jim Carrey… both of their careers took off that year. This movie technically came out in 95, but still it was mostly 94 when he got started

I enjoyed the comedy. At first it threw me, then I started to laugh along. I'm a lover of this film and didn't mind the comedic breaks from the seriousness that you two offered. What sold it to me was the chemistry you two have and that if your lady enjoyed your humor and even joined in, I could also lighten up myself. It was a fresh approach and it was obvious you still respected and appreciated the serious moments. The other reactors are just anal.

Dude, your attempting to be funny every ten seconds and apparently thinking you were watching a comedy kinda damaged your reaction, which is too bad because the left side of the reaction is nice. You keep calling poor Alfred "cringy", but you may be the cringiest reactor I've seen in a while. ^^; You should only react to comedies.

I have watched a lot of reactions - since this is one of my favourite movies, and every time the reaction is made by a couple, the guy always act like a little kid. Brad Pitt seems to make the guys so uncomfortable that they just don't know how to react - because they know their girl is just drooling over him, and they don't know how to deal with it. It just ruin the reaction completely.
