One piece of information that was missed in Centralia they killed 24 out of 25 they left one man to tell a story of what had happened that day to strike fear into the Union Army. Also captain , Bloody Bill Anderson's head was mounted on a pike Pole not Telegraph Pole. I'm an old man and I grew up in the little Dixie area in Missouri I've seen actual photos of his head mounted on a pike pole back when I was a young man I'm 70 years old. Love this series it is fantastic I'm so glad I found it. Thank you very much for this channel and all you do

I've always heard that the James and Youngers were related, that they were cousins in fact. I have tried to look it up, but cannot find anything on the subject that says yes, or no. Can someone please answer this question for me? Thanks!

What happened to all that money? What was the split? Shouldn't that have been enough to settle everyone into a normal comfortable life?

If you believe the story that J. Frank Dalton AKA Jesse James told in the 1940's the James gang were more than simple robbers,they were operatives for the Confederate underground working with the KGC. Stealing from the robber barons like Jay Gould was political/economic warfare

The majority of the gold and money went to the KGC. Knights of the Golden Circle. There is a book titled The Golden C . This book will tell you the main reasons for the civil war . Slavery was just a small part of it . When Lincoln freed the slaves, it was only in the states that seceded from the United States. Delaware and another state in the Northeast still had slaves.
