A superb story, well told, with an excellent ending. A 'sole survivor' at the end, who must certainly have been well haunted by old ghosts, before he became one himself in 1904. Seems 'fickled fate' ultimately sided with the Tewksbury family (perhaps with some justice) but fate surely extracted an extreme price for that one man's life experience. Kinda glad I was not him & have had a very gentile life by comparison. Trust and hope most of you might agree.
