I just bought the gloss Urithane top coat and This was extremely informative but there is one question I have that I haven’t found an answer to yet. Will the top coat cover hairs and dust that fell into the epoxy upon curing or does it need to be sanded and then applied? Will that effect the glossiness or will the gloss top coat bring that back out? Thank you for your time!

I got some orange peeling in a couple places after spritzing with the alcohol don't know what caused that, but will a gloss coat hide that or will it reappear?

hi you did not torch. when i do the flood coat it does not come up glossy. it has like small pinhole dots that you can see under the light. what can i do to resolve this issue

Beautiful!! Now this is starting to get me closer to what i'm DESPERATELY trying to figure out! So is the Urethane coat JUST AS GLOSSY/ SHINY as the Flood coat epoxy/ top coat of clear epoxy? The urethane topcoats are 4-5 times harder then the epoxy. The gloss urethane topcoat is still glossy but has a slight orange peel texture! Hard to notice tho unless you are looking for it! If you try a urethane matt coat or gloss coat and are not happy with the look can I go back over the matt with urethane gloss or gloss over matt after they dry? Thank you great videos, Ted

Yes you can, you just need to sand the surface first with 220 grit then re-apply a new top coat. Thanks

TOPCOAT: URETHANE: 3:1 RATIO URETHANE HAS 2 OPTIONS (ORANGE PEEL & MATTE/SATIN FINISH TOPCOAT) URETHANE TOPCOAT GOES DOWN 400-600 SF PER GALLON Our Wb Urethane Topcoat will come with 3 parts (A, B & C). The urethane without the grit/Part C is kind of the best of both worlds. Its not the most durable or highest gloss but its a bit more utilitarian as it gives you a mid-range slip/scratch resistance while still maintaining a high gloss finish, with just a slight orange peel texture. Now if you add the Part C Powder while mixing, you will get a Matte/Satin Finish. This will be a clear, semi gloss, matte textured finish. It has the highest slip/scratch resistance but does sacrifice the high gloss finish. GLAZE COAT: GLAZE COAT IS NORMAL EPOXY AT 2:1 RATIO GLAZE COAT GOES DOWN AT 100 SF FOR 1.5 GALLONS APPLY ALL TOPCOAT OPTIONS WITHIN A 24 HR PERIOD OF THE EPOXY COAT The glaze coat will be clear epoxy. It will have a high-gloss, glass smooth finish, but be much more susceptible to scratches and abrasions.

An extremely durable water-based formula designed to be a high strength finish over Epoxy, Concrete Overlays, and standard concrete among other things. Protects surfaces from harmful UV rays, scratches and wear. Available in a High Gloss or Matte finish. Our Urethane Top Coat also has an optional Grit Additive for even more extreme environments where added scratch and damage control is desired. Extremely easy to apply and can be re-coated within 1 hour in certain applications.

I notice you do not chop out and then go over with a heat gun. You just roll. Is this because you use a roller? How do you deal with air bubbles?

We have a high end epoxy that has an additive in it to make the bubbles rise to the surface and pop on their own. Thanks
