I ADORE my legion go. I had my steam deck since its inception, but i sold it and got rid of my ally. The legion go is my grown man switch. So much fun and i am so glad for the rapid charging. Everything about it i like and its just gonna get better from here

Playing Call of duty modern warfare 2023 plays flawlessly. No lags no freezes and I literally maxed it out on performance and 30 watts. So why can't all games play this awesome on the legion go when maxed out. This game takes 288GB of storage for those wanting to get this but at the end of the day.. It's definitely worth the download and money.

You may have said but what is your vram set to in the BIOS - had to change mine to 4GB from 3GB - felt better in diablo 4 and cyberpunk with 4gb.

i hope that ARM chips on the windows side get to mac levels of performance will full fledged windows. imagine the performance and battery life of the M2 mac with the portability of the nintendo switch. yea we have mobile cpus but x86 just uses too much power to be a real handheld. good video!

it's most likely a light sensor as the screen has an option to change brightness automatically.

I sold my 65" tv and mounted this baby on the wall. Detached mode from the couch is pretty amazing. I usually eat pizza, so I put the box on my lap and boom! Instant FPS mode top for me to gam on. In between matches I just reach in for a slice. No need to even get up. The controllers are a kinda finger print magnets though. I only get some grease on my fingers from eating and that LITTLE BIT gets picked up. Overall quality device. 😂

There is actually a way to turn on the controllers from the device being off. You have to literally hold the lenovo button for 10 seconds! Holy mole but at least it turns them back on.

@@1UpNerdcore ok sorry, I've realized what I wrote actually isn't very clear. Ok, so, when the device is on but the controllers are off, to turn the controllers back on you have to press the legion buttons on the controllers for 10 seconds (top right and left buttons that everyone agrees should be start and select). The RGB will flash and then that's how you know they are connected. I've connected my controllers this way once but I did it individually per controller which took even longer. I hope this is much clearer to understand. If it doesn't work then, idk lol.

To turn off and on the controllers u have to hold the legion button on each troller you have to hold them for like 10 seconds each

You need to hold it throughout the vibration. If you let go before it's done vibrating they turn back off. It's annoying and it needs to be updated for sure but it does work@@1UpNerdcore

Am I really minority? I think speakers is really important for me. I don't own too many electronic of the same kind, when it comes to handheld pc it'll replace my laptop, my tablet but not desktop pc, I expected it to be good at many thing including a device for watching media & listen to music. So If speaker sucks I'll never look at it.

Speakers is good...and you can bluetooth which I do with Sony budZ or JBL earbuds sound is tremendous

I bought one of these and returned it in two days. Getting it to output video to an external monitor is a nightmare. Do not purchase if you have that goal.

I dont think it makes sense to say the bigger screen makes you lose fps. What matters is the number of pixels. If the rog ally had the same aspect ratio as the llg or vice versa, they would provide the same fps regardless of screen size. I think the only thing holdoing llg back rn is the software, thats what will need to improve to give comparable performance to Ally.

A bigger screen with higher resolution means more pixels. ROG ally is 315 PPI Legion go is 377 PPI

people need to STOP recommending the Steam Deck it has good battery but thats about it. its gonna run games terribly soon cuz its only a 4 core cpu. look at something like dead space and hogwarts legacy which are complete stutterfests on the deck

Is it really an option when it's so much more expensive than the deck BUT has less battery life? Sure, it's more powerful, but is it REALLY that necessary at this formfactor? Think about it and don't be led astray from the sponsorship money.

I buy these handhelds with my own money. This is more expensive than the deck for the 512gb model but that’s for the individual to decide. For 150 extra dollars do they want a windows based device with a larger screen and the fps mode? It’ll always bill down to the preferences of the individual and what they’re cool with spending.

Depending on the user it is. I travel a lot via public transport for work. I use this to game on said commutes. I am very happy to bring a powerbank with me, rendering the battery issue completely irrelevant to me. I use earbuds, making the speaker issue irrelevant to me. The fan noise is also irrelevant because public transport is usually noisier than the fans. What i wanted was a bigger screen so i could sit comfortably, and enough power to hit a steady 45 - 60fps in modern AAA games. I also have games on more platforms than steam, which makes the llg far more convenient than the deck. The use-case is important, not everyone has tge same lifestyle/priorities as you.

It's only $150 more than the 512GB steam deck . I went with the legion go for windows so I can run any program and any game , 2 usb c ports , largest screen , and detachable controllers so I can get rid of some of my Bluetooth controllers that are collecting dust .

LeGo is a PC, not a glorified Gameboy. The reason the SD seems to have better battery life is because you're stuck running games at 800p and lower graphic settings. The LeGo can run AAA games at 1600p and it will eat your battery doing it; however, if you want better battery life you can easily set the resolution to 800p and lower graphic settings and get the same battery life as a SD. I love Valve but the SteamDeck is about 10 years late to the party. We are at the point where we can fit a gaming PC in your hands with full functioning windows. SteamDeck is more like an upgraded Nintendo Switch whereas my LeGo is quite literally more powerful than my 5 year old Gaming Rig. Think about it.

There are so many inaccuracies in this video about the functionality of this device (ie) you do not have to reconnect controllers in order to turn them back on. Hold down the R&L button for three seconds they will power back up. Please do more research before reviewing a product. 😊
