@@poonflip7 There's a datapack part and a resource pack part. Install the resource pack into your resourcepacks folder (which you can find in game by clicking on resource packs and then "open resourcepack folder.") Then you can install the datapack part into the "datapacks" folder in your world, _or_ when creating a new world there will be a button labeled "data packs" where you will be able to install it from. If you're still confused you can find tons of tutorials for installing datapacks and installing resourcepacks on youtube!

Some ideas, if possible, for both of them. If you plan to turn this into a full mob. Divine Aura, an area of effect that sets undead mobs and illagers on fire, even if its dark, or they're wearing helmets. I suggest this because Illagers are evil the lore suggests they are doing stuff that are really...'blasphamous', if you will... As for undead, well does anyone need to explain why the undead would get auto-smite by divine beings? These angels, when not in combat appear as Villagers, or steve/alex npcs, going about randomly, the divine aura effect still in play when not in their combat states. This means you can encounter them and not automatically have to fight a boss mob.

This a really cool idea Imagine if they go past passive baby mobs they would grow up faster or crops would grow 2x as fast or something. and when they look like a villager they would be a cleric and would live in the church.

I think you are thinking of something else. The arch angels job is to kill LITERAL SATAN! I think there is an angel that is in charge of stuff and has a crown, I forgot the name though.

You simultaneously explain things in much simpler ways and know way more than a lot of the datapack-related youtube people I watch. You've expanded what I thought was previously possible in vanilla or slightly modded (optifine) Minecraft. I knew about a lot of custom entity-making stuff and what data packs can do, but your videos always show ways to take them to another level. I'd love to learn more about coding and a lot of the nuances of this stuff, but I guess I just don't really know where to start.

Damn those animations. I’ve also added a boss with this shader/tool/technique but I had no idea you could actually export the animations directly from blockbench. I was making OBJ keyframes and having the program interpolate them which limited my animation options quite a lot

What the heck! I tried to make a custom boss fight based on a vex too, and for the most part it worked, but it was super inconsistent with attacking so I just gave it ranged attacks when it wasn’t charging the player but why does yours work so easily... lol
