Will you be buying the Lego Trevi Fountain on release day?

Me and my girl absolutely love the look of this! She having been to Italy for dance on many occasions, it means more to her of course. She had the old retired set on her "to buy" list when we started doing Lego together, but that one goes for crazy prices. Now we can happily wait to get this one that looks so much more improved and colorful. Although I didnt expect it to be redesign for Architecture. I figured if we ever got another, it would be in the Icons theme, same as the Eiffel Tower, going from Architecture to Icons in a massive and detailed way. KInda glad its not the case because I know that could easily be a $500 set haha

Oh this is a massive upgrade on the original. I do like how much more ambitious these Architecture sets have got these past few years. I just wish Lego would make more than one a year, although it does look like there maybe a 3k+ piece set coming later in the summer, wonder what that turns out to be.

@TheDyslexicGeak yeah Architecture I suppose, isn't as popular as it may be used to be. They haven't made a new City Skyline set in a while, and they only seem interested in really iconic places around the world like Himeji Castle and Notre Dame. But I agree the set line is amazing and has made a bad set in a long time. The 3k piece set has gotta be something iconic as well, maybe even something they've done before and are redoing like they did with Trevi Fountain. I think Big Ben or the Sydney Opera House would be awesome additions in that size piece count

It looks great, but it's a bit ironic that it shall avoid the sun for fear of discoloration.

Haha yeah certainly not a set you want anywhere near a window😂

I missed out on this one the first time. 😢. Maybe I’ll get this one. ❤ definitely on my wish list.

Yeah I didn't really buy many of the older Architecture sets as they were quite small and fiddly, the past few years they have got much more substantial.

do u have any tips on starting lego as a major hobby
@TheDyslexicGeakКүн бұрын
Of course, what specifically would you like advice about?

@@TheDyslexicGeakfirstly , any tips on saving money? do u just put aside a certain amount every month? Also, any tips on starting a yt channel in general for lego. Should you just start with unboxings and perhaps speed builds?
@TheDyslexicGeakКүн бұрын
@ In regards for saving money, Lego can certainly be a huge money sink. I personally have a budget that I can spend each month and I stick to it. Maybe don't buy the latest sets upon release and wait for an inevitable sale that most sets get after a couple of months. That's easier said than done of course. As for starting a channel, the best advice I can give is cover what you enjoy about Lego and just be yourself, don't try an imitate anyone else. Just turn on the camera and see where things take you🙂
