I’ve got to say, as someone who has almost exclusively collected Lego Star Wars, your videos on these modern Lego City sets have me thinking about building a separate Lego City world for myself. Where I’m going to put it, that’s another problem.

Truck looks good, I like the fact that they enclosed the rear seat/compartment. Feels different and somewhat realistic. Also love the use of recolored minecraft chest as fuel tank/storage, it just looks perfect.

I do appreciate the adventurers homage in recent themes. While Johnny Thunder was a big part of my childhood, I was into the line for the temples and traps moreso than vehicles. This is great for City lovers though!

With that camera boom, you can just reverse (put the male where the female is, and the female the male) the mixel joints to get 360 turning.

This set and the atv with red panda are my favorite sets of the year. This is what I wanted for so long, I just wish it was it's own theme and not under the city line but I'll take it.

Nice figs, nice tiger, nice landscape build. The only thing I can nitpick about is the lack of white accent printing on the tiger's body. The set seems to be reasonably priced as well, as the other sets of the line as well. In Germany there's already a 33% discount at a major retailer, makes it even better.

I wish The Lego Group would release a statement on this Johnny Thunder figure. I know that Adventurers takes place in early 20th century, which would make this modern adventurer an admirer of the legendary explorer. Still, it looks weird that Lego would choose to do this. It's also bad news for the Adventurers theme, we might not see new sets any time soon.

I like the set BUT I really wish for a crate in the back because it comes with so many accessories (the Camera, map, drink compas) and you can’t throw them in the back because the wheels are exposed to the cargo bed so flat pieces like the map get caught in the wheels. A grey crate would perfectly fit. I’m pretty sure LEGO intended a crate back there because there is a exactly 3x4 studed space on the bed.

The four maps in the sets- ATV, plane, truck, and helicopter- are all different. I don't know if they match up if connected a specific way (as if a larger map were cut into four pieces). I'm saving that for when I have all four sets. 😃

It's a nice set, however, I really would like some of these cars in the City sets to at the very least be proportional to real vehicles. Like the Speed Champions, in that you can at least have two figures sitting next to each other. I think that width would be very cool in sets like these.

The camera's manoeuvrability could easily be corrected by swapping the ball joint piece with the socket joint piece. Lego have done this a few times and I don't know why?? Besides maybe making it look more consistent colour-wise.

Great set, great theme. Especially the price here in europe these sets are great value. As for the "jungle green" stripe. It is this years sub-sub theme accent color. Last year with the deep-sea explorers you had the light blue as the accent color. Still the same symbol used though. My only nitpick with these sets is that they could have printed a tile with the logo. It would save out at least 4 stickers for 2 sets. Last year they had 2 printed tiles being the 2x4 tile and the sloped tile used for the front of smaller vehicles. Printed on orange. Now they could have printed on dark blue, I do not understand why not. The only piece that got symbol printing is the tail of the plane. Which is so weird. But yeah it is on orange like last years sub theme sets. So I guess it has to do with the color? Last year also anything white with the symbol had stickers. Last year I did not understand why they couldn't include 2x a 2x4 with the print for the big ship. They chose to give 2 stickers for the sides with the symbol. On 2 double sized bricks. While the 2x4 was put in both the sub and smaller ship sets. So I didn't understand why they could not work around what they did. That's it for my sticker rant... Oh great review btw!

The one thing I don't like about any of the jungle sets, is the color choides for the vehicle in each set. The blue, white & orange combo makes no sense in a jungle setting to me and the stripe design makes it seem even more out of place in the jungle. I could see that on city emergency vehicles or a sports team bus or something.

35 dollars feels so wrong to me. I'm from the UK but personally this looks like it should be 30 or even 25. I think the cave build is the biggest let down here, barely provides any capacity for play other than just existing.

I like the color of the old one but the head of the new one, I think the head on the new one represents a tiger more than the old one, I wonder if there is an in-between color because this one is definitely very orange lol
