It's finally here! LEGO + Speed Champions + Formula 1. I've been asking for more LEGO Formula One sets and LEGO has delivered in my favorite themes, Speed Champions and Technic. Today we're reviewing the Mercedes AMG F1 W12 Car and the Mercedes AMG Project One, but let's be honest, I'm only really in it for the F1 car. great review man! have you ever looked at the buyable custom F1 cars that are out there? I was about to buy one when this showed up. do want to find a way to get the position of the driver and the halo correct though. that's my only gripe with the car.

Buying 2 McLarens may be the way to go, I can't see it ever going down in value. I just finished the build and it's the usual Technic tedium but the finished product is so beautiful (and HUGE)

For Lewis, I've gone for Dean Thomas' face, from the Harry Potter series. Unfortunately though, he doesn't have any facial hair, so it's technically a better fit for Lewis earlier in his F1 career... Young Lando Calrissian, T'Challa Star-Lord, or Karamo Brown, are good picks, but I thought Reddish Brown was too dark for Lewis' skin tone. So, I searched for Medium Nougat instead. Turns out there are NOT many Medium Nougat Lego heads, which makes not including one specifically for Lewis even more disappointing.
